Emma Corrin 11-24-2008 06:09 PM

Haha!
Yes!
But only if I take after Jane and Elizabeth and not the younger girls XD

ReiyukaE 11-25-2008 04:49 PM

Yes, very much not like Lydia! XD Though if you were even remotely like Lydia, I would've kicked it out of you already. >D

Emma Corrin 11-26-2008 12:36 AM

Lol!
And at least I'm not like Kitty either!
I actually have a mind of my own and don't follow everyone around me :3

ReiyukaE 11-26-2008 10:20 PM

Thank god, no kidding! Then again, Kitty is really horrid. I mean, if she had any clue, she totally would've followed Elizabeth and Jane, rather then Lydia. She's, like, the WORST person to follow! Even Mary would've been a better choice.

Emma Corrin 11-26-2008 10:47 PM

Lol!
Very true :3
Mary wasn't that bad, I honestly didn't see what was so wrong with her :/

Yuri-san 11-27-2008 11:23 PM

Bumpin' the page up <3

ReiyukaE 11-28-2008 03:17 PM

I know! She was somewhat socially awkward, granted, but in essence she was smart young lady who just couldn't find her way around the society of her day. If you think about it, a lot of women these days are like that, too.

Emma Corrin 11-28-2008 04:22 PM

Exactly!
When Darcy included Mary in his reasons for trying to end the feelings between Jane and Mr. Bingley, I was like "huh? o_O"~
The only thing I could think of was her playing the piano / singing at that one ball :/
But I honestly didn't even see what was wrong with that -- the girls around her were the ones being rude and horrid by making fun of her :/

Yuri-san 11-29-2008 07:36 PM

Bumpin' the page up <3

ReiyukaE 11-29-2008 07:55 PM

But Mary did go overboard on that one ball - she played the piano, and would refuse to give other girls' their chance.

Emma Corrin 11-29-2008 07:59 PM

Oooh -- I didn't realize she had played more the one song ^.^;;

I thought her father had simply stopped her because she wasn't as great a singer as the other girls ^.^;;

ReiyukaE 11-29-2008 08:09 PM

She didn't sing, I think. And the problem for Mary is that she plays with great skill, but that there is no joy in her music. It was like a robot playing a tune, I think.

Emma Corrin 11-29-2008 08:53 PM

I'm probably thinking of the movie then with the singing :3

And yeah -- that's true~
Maybe she's just nervous and so her feelings kind of step aside and she doesn't think as she plays?

ReiyukaE 11-29-2008 09:07 PM

Hmm, quite possibly. <3

That could be true. Or she simply -is- that way. Very dry, though she does feel, her emotions don't come out no matter what she does.

Emma Corrin 11-29-2008 09:10 PM

Hmm -- possibly~
But I'm determined to think positively of her XD

ReiyukaE 11-29-2008 09:19 PM

Oh, but I like her a great deal. Deficiencies in her social skills doesn't make her less wonderful to me. She's smart, but not wise.

Emma Corrin 11-29-2008 09:25 PM

I think she'll be much better when she's older -- by then she'll be more sure of herself and able to express her feelings better if she chose :3

ReiyukaE 11-29-2008 09:48 PM

Not only that, she'll have her wealthy sisters' to help her out with getting used to society.

Emma Corrin 11-29-2008 09:50 PM

That too :3
I'm sure if she follows their guidance and not Kitty or Lydia's guidance, she'll be perfectly alright :3

ReiyukaE 11-29-2008 09:57 PM

Exactly. Though in the end of the book they say that Jane and Elizabeth do their very best to help out Kitty, while Mary remains at home or something. If I remember correctly.

Also, I've just watched the movie "Stardust", and it's wonderful! <333

Emma Corrin 11-29-2008 10:07 PM

I honestly don't remember ^.^;;
Though I'm sure I read that book....
I did read that one didn't I?

I LOVE that movie!
I haven't seen it in FOREVER though T_T
I must ask mom to rent that next weekend :3

Right now I'm watching Sydney White for the 5th time XD

ReiyukaE 11-30-2008 06:20 PM

Yeah, you did read it. XD Silly. <3

Sydney White? What's that about? And I'm glad I got to watch "Stardust" for the first time the other day - and that I got to record it. >D Mwahahaha!

Emma Corrin 11-30-2008 06:40 PM

XD
Well, it's been sitting here -- and I couldn't remember if I didn't send it because I haven't read it or because it didn't fit in my last package to you ^.^;;

It stars Amanda Bynes -- it's about this gril who's mom dies when she's 8 or 9 and so she's been raised since hten by her dad and his construction friends, so she's kind of a tom-boy major - well, she ends up getting into the college that her mom went to, and so she tries to follow in her footsteps by trying to get into the greek sorority that she was in - it's about how she tries to get in and her "ordeal" at college -- it's amazing and I'm probably explaining it wayyyy wrong XD (not good at explaining things without telling the person the entire movie or book, which gives away everything XD)

T_T
LUCKY!

ReiyukaE 11-30-2008 06:57 PM

I think you told me you'd read it - or that you were still reading it when you sent the previous package? XD I don't remember. Read it again!

And yes, very lucky, 'cause now I can watch it some more. <3

And even if you -are- explaining it wrong, it still sounds good. I'll have to look it up!

Emma Corrin 11-30-2008 07:07 PM

XD
But I'm reading Emma! And then I'll be reading Mr. Knightley's Diary :3
Besides, it's already packed away in your "Christmas" package!
Though I think I should probably call it Yule package lol
Isn't that the holiday you celebrate?
-isn't sure if that's the name or not-

T_T

Lol -- you should :3

Have you ever seen Elektra?
I'm watching it now, and i'm in the begining -- not sure if it's good or not lol
All that's happened is 2 people have been killed XD
