Okay, so, I was watching tv - and suddenly the PC just turned on by itself. I spend a little while trying to figure out what was wrong - and it's definetly the graphics card. I need to reinstall the software for it, and if it still doesn't work then, I'll have to get a new card. Mum is more inclined to get a new computer case entirely, but I love my pc, and also, if we get a new case it'll have Vista installed, and then I'll NEVER be able to play the Sims 2 again. T-T" Which is really not something I want. So if all else fails, I'll definetly just buy a new graphics card and put it in myself (it's not that difficult), and hope to god that it'll work. T-T" |

That's freaky - almost like how my mouse used to move on it's own across the screen when the mouse itself wasn't moving o_O;; :gonk: I'd just go with the graphics card :3 -gives you Fred- If not, Fred will beat it up!! |
Ah, my mouse used to do that, too - usually when the batteries were running out.
Me too, but mum is just getting sick of not having a computer to work on. I mean, it's not like she actually DOES anything on the pc. It's just that she likes to have the "option" of working on it. Now she always has to use my lappy, but the internet connection I have with my lappy doesn't always work properly, so that's enough reason for her to buy a new one. *shrugs a bit* It's her money. If she DOES buy a new one, I'm definetly going to ask if I can keep the old one, and try to fix it gradually or something. Aww, thanks! *bashes pc with Fred* |

You can, though. Sell it to used hardware stores and such. Probably wouldn't get much of a price off of it, but, you could still sell it for a little bit. Not that I plan on it. I can't help it, but I love my hardward. ^^

I don't really care all that much - I'd just hate to see my Sims games go to waste. I've hardly played with them, and I'm not planning on buying The Sims 3 anytime soon - I'd rather want the other expansion packs for Sims 2 then have a whole new game.
