T_T
I could never do that stuff -- not only would I get all sweaty and dirty, but it'd be actual work T_T

Lol~
I would just for fear of them falling apart on me XD
Then again -- I'd take them to a master bookbinder and have him/her fix them for me :3

Felicity 02-27-2009 04:52 PM

lol! Not that hard work, though the job I helped my sister do (which was replanting leek) was pretty tiring. The farmer we worked for was a good man, though, so it was fun to help him out.

Even a master bookbinder might not be able to fix it entirely. After all, time makes paper go fragile. I'd be more terrified of accidentally tearing a page or something. XD

Yuri-san 02-27-2009 06:22 PM

Lol~
But stillllll -- dirt, sweat, bleckkkkkkkkk T_T

XD
Trueeeee~
But maybe they could do something to make the pages stronger?
-knows nothing about bookbinding except for what I read about Mortimer's job in the Inkheart series ^.^;;-

Felicity 02-28-2009 10:11 PM

That's why there is such a thing called a bath, or a shower~

lol! No, that's not plausible since with a book the paper is always printed on two sides, so there's little they can do to strenghten the paper.

Books and anime are so excellent when it comes to learning new things~

Yuri-san 02-28-2009 11:32 PM

Yess, but just the fact that I -was- dirty T_T

T_T
That's not fairr~
I figured they could coat it with some clear gloss stuff or something :/

Yess!
And mom says anime is a waste of time :P
It's actually very educational! :3 <3

Felicity 03-01-2009 12:35 AM

You're such a preppy girl~

I've told my mum plenty of "random facts" for her to understand that it's pretty educational. Not to mention that a lot of them hold cute and interesting views on love and life in general, and it's just really something that enrichens your life at times. Like some things out of Card Captor Sakura or Fruits Basket are simply things that improve the quality of life, and that help you look at the world in a much more fun way!

I think they can't do that without damaging the paper a bit, because most of those things have chemicals in it, and after a while even the most harmless of chemicals starts eating away at things.

Yuri-san 03-01-2009 12:52 AM

XD
Kinda scary that I'm adding Goth to my wardrobe neh?
It's a new style "Gothep Lolita", Half Gothic Lolita, Half Preppy ;P

Exactly!
I try explaining that to mom and she just rolls her eyes and is just like "Yeah.. whatever.." T_T

T_T
But..but... they can remove the chemicals from it and use everything natural ;D

Felicity 03-01-2009 12:58 AM

Hehe, I don't think it's all that odd~ I usually spice up my own outfit simply by wearing black eyeshadow and a studded choker. ^^
There's a ton of Goth-esque things that are simply wicked. <3

Maybe it's possible, but I highly doubt it since they already have problems with maintaining important documents like the Bill of Rights.

We need to re-educate your mum! XD Then again, my sister doesn't get it, either.

Yuri-san 03-01-2009 01:07 AM

Very truee <333
Gah!
I want a Gothic necklace and earring set T_T
!
I'll have to look for pendants to go with my new outfits once I get more of the clothes I want :3

XDD
True~

Lol!
My mom is probably like your sister -- now matter how much we try to explain, they'll never get it xD

Felicity 03-01-2009 01:11 AM

...I want a Vivienne Westwood necklace and earrings. T-T SO BAD! They're not even that expensive, since I like silver way more then gold anyway. I even found some affordable ones on Ebay, but I just can't afford it right now. *pouts* I'm so Westwood-deprived~ T-T WAAAAAAAAAh!

I should maybe take a look at the same store where I bought that stone and windchime thingy! :o It's a witch store, so they have a lot of gothic-esque jewelry too. Like, crosses with a gem in it and the like.

Exactly. <.<" It frustrates me in a sense since she's a complete Disney fan (which I am too, so 'tis all good), but she just can't seem to get the anime thing.

Yuri-san 03-01-2009 01:25 AM

T_T
What do they look likeee?
-has never heard of them-

Oooo!
That'd be cool!
Though I dun like crosses :/
-not religious, and if I wore a cross, I'd feel as if I were promoting religion ^.^;;-
But if they had other stuffs and they have a website, you should send me the link! :3

T_T
That's definitely strange, since Disney does the same thing ^.^;;
Though in the case of my mother, my mother "likes" Disney, but not in the sense of a fan or anything -she hardly watches TV/Movies- T_T

Felicity 03-01-2009 01:38 AM

Vivienne Westwood is this really hip designer. ^^ She has a lot of wicked clothes, but I'm not even going to try and fit into those. XD But her jewelry and accesoires are wicked, too.
http://i15.ebayimg.com/03/i/001/33/56/f2da_1.JPG
This orb thing is sort of her "signature" jewelry. She has a ton of it with that orb, with different gemstones and what not too. This was just the first one I found online. ^^ But I really love how it looks; simple and still great.

Aaah, I see. But there are a lot of more Celtic like crosses that don't promote anything. ^^ And nah, they don't have a website. Most stores don't, except the chains, here in Belgium - not to mention that it's just a small store I happened to come across~

Hmhmm, but my sis usually doesn't even get the "lessons" from Disney movies. Or at least she doesn't pay attention to them/learn from them.

EDIT - Like for example these earrings. They're only about 4 bucks! T-T <33

Yuri-san 03-01-2009 01:44 AM

Oooo~
That looks gorgeous!!!
:gonk:
I wanna see her clothes and more jewelryyyyyyyyy~
Does she have a webbie?

Lol~
If it's not religious then I probably wouldn't mind it :3
T_T
But I wanna check out the jewelryyyy T_T
No fairr.. Can you come steal me away so I can come and shoppp?

XDDDD
That's sad~

Felicity 03-01-2009 01:48 AM

Of course - she's a big hotshot designer like Gucci and Prada - only that she has prettier clothes in my opinion. Just google her - she usually has pics of her collections online.

Hmm, I would, but it would just be easier for me to go take a look there and bring along stuff that I think might look nice - or draw them or something. XD

Yuri-san 03-01-2009 01:56 AM

-googles her-

xD
Or you could take pictures of the stuff for me (or draw it if you have time), and I could talk mom into letting me send you monies to get some of it and you can buy it for me and either send it or bring it yourself ;P

Felicity 03-01-2009 02:04 AM

Hehe, well, I'll make sure to go there sometime soon, then and then we can decide on what we'll do. ^^

iCrayola 03-01-2009 02:05 AM

Oo00oo Cool Art :D

Yuri-san 03-01-2009 02:06 AM

Licity: Yess!
-pokes-
CONVINCE MOM I CAN HANDLE THE AIRPORTS XDD-

iCrayola: Thank you! <333

EDIT: Wooooot!
I just noticed, we're on 100 pages! <33

Felicity 03-01-2009 02:11 AM

! We are. Congrats on 100 pages! <33

Are -you- convinced you can handle the airports? XD

Yuri-san 03-01-2009 02:13 AM

Thankies! <33

>.<
Not the point ^.^;;
I'll..I'll manage ^.^;;
Just talk to me on my cell or laptop the entire time? ^.^;;

Felicity 03-01-2009 02:23 AM

Oh yeah, 'cause that's going to work. XD I'd much rather go with you until Germany and make sure you're up in the air safely, rather then talk you through it. XD

Yuri-san 03-01-2009 02:28 AM

xD
But.. but.. that'll waste your monies~
And what about the airports -on the way- there? XD

Felicity 03-01-2009 02:50 AM

Those are still within English speaking countries, no?

Yuri-san 03-01-2009 03:02 AM

XD
Yessss~
But so not the point XD
They're big with 6 hr over-lays T_T

Felicity 03-01-2009 03:13 AM

You just have to make sure to be near your gate in time, and then just pass the time by reading~ That's not that scary~
