I've never hung out in someone's art auction thread before - this'll give me an idea of how I'd like to run the one I want to do once I've cleared up the art debt I have. :3 I'll bring my welcoming cat with me and beckon in bidders for you two. ;3

I have lots of artist friends, but as a whole, they are not avatar-site people. XD

I've only ever participated in one art contest on Gaia (which I didn't actually even end up officially entering because I went on vacation and missed the deadline or something) but I gave Noraboo the finished artwork I'd done anyway and she gave me a gift in return. XD; (I didn't even hang out in her thread much as I didn't feel welcome by Noraboo's regulars. >_> )

Overall, the whole idea of artistic transactions via avatar sites isn't something I'm extremely familiar with. Obviously, I understand the basics, but just never participated in any shops or auctions. ::vague ramble::

Hmm I never enter contests xD;;;;;; I often dislike the characters and am not inclined to work hard for the chance that I may not win anything at all.

I've gained a lot of experience it seems, I dont mind helping you out if you need anything. <33 it's normally a pretty friendly atmosphere. There's always going to bet the set of weirdos.

I am working on them, but I am in a possition where I cannot add the color gradients until Friday evening. ^^ I will send them as soon as I can.

Oh gaia I sell fullbodies for about 25k but Im about to increase the price once I finish my current commissions.

Nah - I never really got into dA, ever, myself. XD; I actually can't say that I was ever very good at making "art archive friends" in general. XD My art friends all came from role-playing games or non-avatar forums. XD (Mostly role-playing games.) It's not to say I didn't have/don't have contacts in dA and so forth, just that I can't think of anyone I met and "hung out with" primarily through an art archive... :' I don't know if I'm social enough for that. XD

Oh - yeah, I understand that entirely. :) For most art contests I have a fairly good shot at placing, but it's difficult to get myself to the point where I actually submit something to a contest because of the whole gamble of it all. :B I'll likely enter any art contest on Menewsha I have either the time for or interest in, because the avatars are easier to look at and more difficult to "over-clutter" - but I couldn't bring myself to do that on Gaia. ::rambles vaguely::

xD Yeah mostly my friends from gaia mene and real life stalk me on dA so... xD;;;

*nods* Yeah unless it's a really big one, I often have a pretty good chance too, but Im just so lazy to risk not getting paid at all. D: Mene avis are nicer in some ways. P: I normally do OC contests if I do anything though.

Menewsha avatars have more "real estate" for clothes/detail than Gaia avatars. XD So it's easier to make out, exactly, what an item is. XD Granted, I'm OCD enough that I take an avatar into Photoshop or OC and zoom in and change the settings sometimes to double-check (also because my monitor is kind of crap so I don't always see the detail the same way the pixelist created it with), but with Gaia avatars it's sometimes difficult to tell even with the zooming. >_>;

Sweet - I have OCs to get you to draw as well. ;3

Yeah I like it that they are slightly taller. ^^ It's nicer to see items and have them be spread out and such. My monitor is okay but mostly I memorize all the available items and what they look like for the most pat so as to better draw them.
