hahaha it has changed a lot hasnt it? gone through 2 maybe three owners as well i think? im not absolutely positive, i tend to go away and come back every few months depending on whats going on IRL and where im at.

Actually Xmas break has begun, but tomorrow I'll fly to Atlanta and my holiday will then have officially begun XD Right now I'm still in my really messy dorm trying not to pack up. Oh yeahh I did some jewelry for the dolls, but that was so long ago D: These days I content myself with buying the cutest clothes and not touching them forever. They'll stay locked in my closet while I'm gone, they're too heavy to bring around T_T. Oh.. thats what the event was for? XD I was too distracted. Everything is so different and I got confused. Damn the clothes here are so cute!! |

hurmm only ones i can think of off the tip of my head that seem to be a big thing are no double posting, spamming, and no bumps.. aside from that i think its mainly the same as other sites, its been a while i haven't read the rules in a bit, but there is a link at the bottom of the main forum page thats real useful.. that i know of none of the rules have changed. ooo Georgia.. i have family that just moved there a few days ago. hahah the clothes for the BJD"s are SO AMAZING, so much detail on such tiny clothing, makes me wish they made clothing like that for us to wear.. you know that you didnt have to get custom made and look really hard and pay tons and tons for.. then again if it were cheap would be common and lose its appeal. *nods* yeaps, something lasting about 2 and a half weeks so everyone can earn some stuff.. lol and i think they are trying to bring the member together and let us meet one another on different forums we dont generally frequent.. its nice. |

I know right?? D: The clothes are like real life OCs, with all the super awesome detail. And what's worse, they cost more than normal sized clothes XD Sure, the detail is hard to do on a small piece of cloth but cmonnn, right? I try my best not to go to dollsites so I wouldn't get sucked into it again.. I feel bad for my friends who live in misery everyday because they're always surrounded by dolls and doll forums! DX It's neverending. The event thing does sound pretty cool :) I'll hang around here for abit, it's lovely and small and cute! |
*nods* yeaps the same rules, i think they prefer you limit the one to two word replies to things and TRY to make conversation with people.
oh *nods* i've looked through the doll sties many times for ideas on how to better dress my OC's *snort* they come up with such amazing designs and ideas, and the dolls in the pictures always looks so.. i dunno, like there is a dream like quality to it thats really appealing to me for some reason. and oh gosh they do! so so pricey, but gorgeous! you know i bet if the clothes we normally wear was made of that quality it would be SO much more expensive! yay! im glad you'll be staying around for a bit again ^^ |

Dude I know, the character designers for those dolls have like the best jobs XD Just sit and think of those things, can you imagine? Where do I sign up? DX And hells yeah I'd think it'll be alot more expensive in real life if we were to dress like that.. then again if we do, we should all have bodies and faces like Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt to pull it off.. cna you imagine someone like.. I don't know, Carrot Top in a costume? DX *gag XD I need a place to hang out recently, and gaia has gotten.. booooring DX. |
Gaia... has gotten depressing, in my opinion anyways, but that may be just me *shrugs* im happy here so i guess im a bit biased as well.
hahah yeah i guess you would kinda have to look absolutely perfect to pull off some of that stuff.. i mean heck i see people walking around where i work in cosplay outfits (why they cosplay in a furniture store.. who knows) and it strikes me as really really bad because lets face it.. some people... can cosplay really really really well.. but the vast majority can not.. and the ones that wander around the store that way cant... its kinda like how some people can pull off the goth look.. *grins* im really jealous of writers.. i mean how do they come up with WHOLE WORLDS and histories and religions, and money, and social systems? and so in depth that sometimes its hard to keep track without writing yourself notes so you can fully appreciate their hard work? *is just so won over* *happy sigh* i've been on a reading binge lately.. and am just so engrossed in everything that im trying to do the same for my characters, i dont understand how they keep all those details mapped out in their heads. |
o_O People cosplay where you are? Are you sure it's not just them wearing a bunny hat or something, I mean that's okay I guess. But full on costumes would be.. insane beyond belief. And I must agree.. it is more common to find bad cosplayers than good ones.. unfortunately not everyone is born looking like a model and not everyone knows everything there is to know about clothes..
Yeahh! I took a storytelling class last semester, I was so bad at writing stories. But I think I've gotten abit better.. I still stink, but I find that I love writing about children XD How weird? Anyways, I'm going to sleep now.. see you around! 8D!!! |

@ luciole - oh yes.. full on cosplays of full metal alchemist characters and a few other things (though only that one comes to mind immediately).. we do have people come dressed full goth and cowboy too though. which the cowboy one irritates the heck out of me because the only places near by (within an hour/2 hour drive) are country clubs and polo clubs.. so they wouldn't be wearing that stuff anyways.. they'd have a real nice riding outfit and saddle up English saddle. bah! that's just a bit of a pet peeve though.
