Demon's Saga: The Prophecy

Prologue

It was dark, gloomy and freezing windy night somewhere in the southern counties of Perlevenn Island.
Year 37 After The Semavahi War.
That was the night, when The Prophecy was told.


The Town Eldery Zaah'raa once said, he was the one, to hear the story from the best source - from the person, who heard the Prophecy. He keept on retelling the story: first – to the wise and rich in the biggest Academies in Perlevenn – Sun Academy in Roa, Gazhad Order in Leiv and Saafth Oh'neahra's Royal Magic&Wisdom Academy in Blugn, The Royal Capital of Perlevenns United Counties; then – to the people with knowledge and power in medium cities all over the Island.They all laughed. No one belived in the Prophecy.

Howewer, Zaah'raa kept on retelling it.
But then, he stopped. He returned to his home town, and silently took place of The Town Eldery.

Everybody knew, that it was the time, when a sharp, straight scar appeared on his face.
Everybody knew that it isn't the only scar, he bears.
But no one knew, who made the powerful, strong and wise, go silent. They didn't want to know.

If there was someone even stronger and more powerful than he is, they wanted to have no connection with the whole story.

That was the night, when The Prophecy was told. The old lady asked him for help with her packing. She was leaving his Inn this night, and he wanted to make her way as much comfortable as he could. He had come to her door at midnight, knocked. There was no answer. Afraid a bit – slightly opened the door. The old lady was lying on the floor. She was breathing hard. He jumped towards her, to help her.
<<The Semavahi Master..>> she muttered. She wasn't unconscious, she looked at him.. No, through him. She didn't seem to recognise, or even see anything, anyone...
<<...The Master of the Shadow, Sadness and Chaos.... he will return, together with his Hordes made of the Flame....>> He couldn't say a word. The old lady's voice sounded innatural, as if it wasn't her speaking.
<<He will be awaken by the Follower, To Be Born. They both will start a new war, Semavahi and his Follower, Master and his right hand, together, as ensemble of the Strenght.....>>
<<But there can be anbother ensemble. The only goal to achieve – destroy the Follower, Semavahi himself.............or let the whole world vanish in eternal Nothingness. And the Follower will be born a year and a day after the sun rises on the wrong side of the horizont.......remember.....The Master, Semavahi, will return....>>” - all the children listening to the story, told by Zaah'raa moved closer to the storyteller.
- Master Raa, Master Raa, what is next? - asked the small girl in the first row. She was asking the question every evening. Children liked the tale of the Prophecy, so they asked for it almost every day.
- Then, sweetheart, the old lady closed her eyes, and died. The Inn keeper who told me the story found a doctor, but he couldn't help it. She didn't die of sickness, or because of her age.
The children stopped breathing. The favourite part of the story is close.
- And, as they were standing next to her dead body – it started to shine, making them blind for several minutes. When the light was gone they saw, that her body disappeared. And there was only one thing left – a small stone, shining magically with yellow light.
Zaah'raa reched to his pocked. He slowly took out of it a small piece of paper, and unwrapped the thing that was inside.


The yellow stone was shining, and the children saw it.
They saw the Follower, Semavahi, and the Rescurers. In their souls.

They belived.

Nereus, Oura and Ignis have just entered the Academy. They don't know each other, and know nothing about the rules of the new place, they are in. What will happen...?

Eef appeared to be a beautiful, calm village, mostly controlled by the Academy here.
Placed in the centre of big forest, Eef is also veery beautiful. But the most charming thing is, that the Academy was „hanging” in the trees, with long, scary bridges between parts of it – the main building, classrooms and dormitories. Underneath the Academy there was a wild garden, but open to enter.

In the centre of Eef, the first visible thing is the shop, named „Bloody Sunrise”. A young, blond-haired Roeachara was sitting after the counter, looking a bit of bored.

Some older people were walking around,other – sitting at the enterances of their houses. There was a noise, coming from one of the bigger buildings in the city, probably a tavern of some sort.

You all three, Oura, Ignis and Nereus, were waiting for someone to come, and open you the gate. As you've already wanted to start a nice little chat, someone came to the gate.

Very young girl, sagemmacharian with curly, short red hair smiled.

„Hello there, youngsters! Please, come in.” - she opened the gate.
„I'll take you to your dormitories.”

You all followed her, a little bit scared.
She went up by twisting stairs, and entered the first building. It was quite dark here. You couldn't see much – and even if you could, you wouldn't see much, as she quickly left the building, taking one of the hanging bridges you've seen before, standind at the main enterance.

Then, she entered another building. Quite huge room, filled with books, lamps and comfortable-looking sofac and chairs was the first one you've entered. But you've passed it also. Another room was almost totally empty. But you could clearly see some doors, probably leading to your own rooms.

„There you have. These will be your rooms.” - she gave each of you a key.
„Sorry. I have something to do now. Pleas, as for now, don't leave this building. I'll come here soon, and explain you some rules, important in our Academy.”

She looked at each of you.

„I think you don't know each other? That's a great chance to get to know each other.” - she smiled.
„See ya'!”

She turned around, and left the building, leaving you in the main dormitories' hall.

"Like hell I'll be waiting here!" Ignis snorted, and looked around, slightly disappointed.
"...but...we're supposed to..."
"Shut up." He looked at the other boys. Waited for a moment, but he didn't hear any responce...so he nodded with aprovement.
"You can stay here if you want to, wimp. I'm going to look around."
He left the room the same way they got in, and movet to the garden. He was decided to look closely to this place, before deciding what to do next. So he moved to the back of the academy terrains, looking around with slight interest.

Oura lowered his head. This wasn't one of the warmest greetings he had...the boy sighed, and looked at the doors leading out of this room. After a moment of hesitation, he opened one of the doors, and looked around, slightly curious what he will see there.

He stood quietly a small distance from the others, his large eyes closed as if he were in thought. Nereus had been quiet around the other two boys thus far, offering his name in greeting and little else. It wasn't that he was being unfriendly. Just quiet. Meeting new children his age was a rare thing for the Roeachara, and so he did not quite know how to act properly.

The red-haired one was noisy, and already Nereus cared little for him. The other one, though, was... wel, curious was probably the best way to put it. He looked a bit like Migaah, his old dance teacher. Nereus suddenly realized he missed her, moreso than his own parents.

No matter. He was at the academy now. Nereus was to do her proud.

A snap from the redhead caused Nereus to open one eye, just in time to see him leave. Oh well. Just him and the one who looked like Migaah. Oura, wasn't that his name? Something like that.

It seemed Oura was unwilling to stay in this room as well, as he too wandered off towards a door. Nereus' other eye opened. He certainly didn't want to stay here alone, and he wasn't terribly keen on following that redhead. Cautiously, almost timidly, he took a small step frward.

"Um..." he said, his voice so quiet it was barely above a whisper. "Mind if I come along, as well?"

Oura jumped at the sudden noise, and turned around, letting go of the door. When he saw it was another one of his group speaking, he smiled slowly.
"Why...yes, ofcourse. Whatever you want to." the smile comtinued, as the boy bended his head a little.
"But..I'm not really that sure, where am I going...are you?"

Returning the small, slow smile, Nereus shook his head. "Know? I've never been here before in my life. 'course I don't know.

"But," he added slyly, "we can always find out, no? Not like there's anyone to stop us..."

And he was right, at least as far as he knew. Aside from that one girl earler, Nereus was almost convinced that they were the only ones here. The place had been so quiet, so empty...

Besides, what harm could a little nosing about do? The girl wasn't back yet, and even so, she hadn't pointed out any off-limits areas. So they could go anywhere they wanted according to his book.

"Weeeell...." Oura started, playing with the tips of his hair, his both tails moving slowly... Perfect sign that he was unsure what to do.
"...Are you sure we can..? I mean, to just...go somewhere? I mean...yes, I wanted to look around a bit, but should we..more...?"
...clearly, wording himself wasn't one of his main attributes.

Ignis reached the garden with no obstackles. But then - became quite afraid. Calling it a garden isn't the best idea. Better word? Jungle, or so. Birds, flying everywhere, colourful and noisy. A small path leading between the trees and disappearing somewhere in the forest.
Suddenly, Ignis heard a loud noice, something like an animal's cry, in the jungle. But it was so painful.... What should he do?

When Oura opened one of the rooms' doors, he saw a small, nice room, with bed, one window with blue curtains, wardrobe, small desk and a chair. Simple, but lovable.
One moment, they heard the noise from the garden <<yeah, the same Ignis heard>>
Wasn't it the third, red-haired guy, already into a trouble...?
