Kasumi stops and sits down when she gets about 5 ft away from the other kits.

Taking the sharp tooth charm, Viktor used the rope to swing on to the vines, and began to cut the ropes of those different crystals with the tooth. It took quite some time for each crystal, but at last it was done. Well, they had gathered seven, but Viktor couldn't find the 8th anywhere.

Deciding to sort out the ones they had first, by trial and error, each crystal was placed into their appropriate chasm on the ground. Viktor wondered if it was just his imagination, but each crystal seems to shine brighter and brighter, as the 7th was place into its appropriate indent, the combined crystals reflected a ray of light upwards, hitting a big crystal still hanging from the vine, and lighting up the entire room.

Going with his instinct, Viktor cut down the crystal that acted almost as a mirror, and placed it into the center of the formation. Immediately, a rumble was heard, and the circle with inscriptions cleared, revealing an elavator like platform underneath...

"Thank you for the flowers," Veronika replied happily. "The woods sounds perfect for a day trip."

With a bright grin and a sparkle in her eyes, Veronika turned to Saldra and said, "I'll race to the woods!" before taking off.

Woooah. Victor, you clever guy! I would never come up with something like that!

As the last crystal was dropped into place, there was an immediate tremble in the earth. Remy hoped fervently that the tunnel like passage wouldn't collapse on them. Half a minute later, the ground stopped shaking, revealing some sort of elevator, or so it seemed..

Taking the lead, she stepped onto it cautiously. At first, nothing moved, and she wondered if she had to do something. Then, as Viktor stepped on beside her, it started giving off a sort of humming sound. Almost like a melody. And then slowly.. they started moving downards, as if the tune was guiding them. Looking around, Remy could see only dirt, but with tiny berries embedded in it. They were like none she had ever seen. Small, almost invisible, but bright bright green. Without thinking, she grabbed a few and put them in her pack.

As they reached the bottom, Remy and Viktor stepped off, looking around at what seemed a large room, possibly one that was once used for celebrations or ceremonies of some sort. It looked safe for the most part.
Calling up to the other Sharenti as the elevator started returning up, she invited them to come down: "I think you have to go 2 by 2!" she said, "or else it won't work."

Dashing off towards the woods, saldra stopped suddenly. "Veronika!" he called out, "stop!"

Just as he yelled 'stop' however, something leaped out. Unsure if it was friendly or harmful, he raced after Veronika, though what help he could give he was not sure.

• After being assured that Viktor was fine and making sure she herself was okay, she decided she wanted to keep exploring. She was walking slowly and a lot more cautiously than before, which caused her to fall behind a bit. the ground started shaking and she moved quickly to catch up to the Sharenti she'd just encountered. She watched them climb onto the strange platform which slowly began to move downward. She moved quickly and landed lightly on the platform with them. "Um... Hi..." she muttered slowly, not sure what else to say. She was too curious to stay behind.

As the platform decended, Viktor found that Gavi had suddenly joined them, the platform shook a little but otherwise the descent was uneventful.

"Looks like as long as there is a heavy weight on the platform, it will desend," Viktor shared his speculations witht he other two Sharentis.

As they reached the bottom into a large ceromoonial room, Viktor wondered what powered the platform, could those bright green berries? Surely not, Viktor dismissed the idea and set to explore the room.

He found that there were doors in the room, which all looked the same, but as he approached one he was repelled back by an invisible force. Trying several more doors and discovering the same result, he finally found one that didn't repell him, and it wasn't dusty like the other doors, it looks like someone has used it recently. Perhaps the strange adult Sharentis who entered the ruins before them? What perpose could they possible have?

Veronika was too caught in the moment to heed Saldra's warning in time, and didn't see the creature that had leapt out until it was too late. The collision caused her to roll down the slope. Fighting against the gravity, Veronika managed to glance at the thing she collided with, it was another Sharenti? But it was coloured pitch black, had scary red eyes, and unlike any other Sharenti she had ever seen. And dear Menshi help, is that talons on the end of its paws?

Obeying her first instinct to run, she attempted to bolt for the forest. Racking her scattered mind for ideas on what to do once she got there.

"I don't feel so good..maybe it was those berries I ate," Kasumi said to herself. She noticed a strange glow around her as she start floating. "What's going on?!" She attempts to run, but isn't able to. Her body starts changing before her eyes. "I'm getting bigger...now I look like the teens I seen earlier." Once she lands on the ground she looks over at the two kits she has been watching before.

Ciaran is so stunned by the change in Kasumi, that he he almost completely misses his own transformation. It isn't until he notices that he is in the air that he realizes something is happening to him as well.

Examining the room herself, she saw that the other doors gave off a slightly greenish glow.. similar to those of the crystals but of a slightly different hue. Thinking, she took one of those berries from her pack. Yep, they matched perfectly in color. Was the berry to come in use later? Perhaps, but she was soon distracted by the sight of Viktor walking through an arched doorway. So there was an open one..

Following closely behind, she stepped through after Viktor..

Running after Veronika, Saldra soon caught up, for his legs had become more accustomed to the fresh earth. Veronika turned back, eyeing the monster and Saldra just barely in front if it. Thinking fast, Saldra grabbed Veronika, attempting to lift her off the ground. This was the first time he had ever even considered trying to fly with added weight.. at first, they stumbled a bit, bounding up and down, but soon they were up, just barely, then higher, and higher still.. Looking down, Saldra could see the monster below, growling fiercely.

At the day of her ceremony, there were many eyes stared upon Kayla as she began to look about at the crowd. "F...Father?" Father Kanae stood in front of the newborn sharenti and formally welcomed her into the land. At this ceremony, the name Kayla was given to her. After a period of blessings, Kayla was free of her ceremonial business.

It has been a week now since Kayla had been born. Kayla, though young, is a spunky, playful female sharenti. She had gotten used to her village surroundings. Without a single friend, she began to notice the other sharenti running about and playing with one another. Attempting to build up her young newfound courage, she ran out to some of the other sharenti, but couldn't find any words to speak.

Ciaran sits there eating berries, finding that his newer, bigger form needs more food. After eating a bunch of berries, he goes back to his den to lay down for a quick nap. He lays there, watching the clouds through the hole to his den.

The room was dark and damp, but there were definately signs of it being in frequent use. Dark cloaks hung around the coatrack in one corner, there was a bucket and an old wooden chair in another. A square stable sat in the center, housing a few empty jugs and a basket of stale apples.

Viktor made his way to a box that hugged the wall, it was previously hidden from view as the table stood between it and the door way. Up on opening the box, he found various sized scrolls rolled up in it. Pulling one out randomly. Viktor discovered that it was a map or the ruins, or rather the construction map of the ruins.

According to the map, they were in a storage room, and the other doors in the room with the platform lead to an audiotorium, a dinning hall, and... that can't be right, Viktor reread the map, but the text clearly marked the door on the right as leading to the flower garden. How can a garden be down here in the darkness? It was a strange concept to Viktor.

Turning around to discuss it with Remy, they debated on what to do next.

Veronika in her mad scramble to get away from the creature, did not even notice Saldra flying towards her until she felt her feet leave the ground.

Overcoming the first instinct to struggle and panic, Veronika found that she quite enjoyed the sensation of flying. Even the sudden dips as Saldra struggled with their combined weight left a feeling of excitement in her tummy.

Watching the growling monster drift away from them, she decided that after this day was over, she would visit Menshi's temple and ask for the blessed angel wings too.

Following Viktor into the room, everything seemed ordinary at first. Just like any dining or storage room back home. But.. something seemed.. off. Then she noticed it. It was the cloaks on the rack that gave it away. They touched the ground as if too big for the rack itself. Perhaps they were of the old Sharenti who had come to explore the ruins themselves? But then she got it, everything in this room was miniature. The table, the chairs, even the box Viktor had been inspecting.

This though, however, was quickly pushed to the back of her mind as Viktor came over and showed her his discovery.

"Perhaps we should visit the garden first," Remy suggested. It must be of some value since the old Sharenti had worked so hard in somehow creating an underground garden she thought..

Noticing a little clearing further ahead, Saldra prepared to land. A few minutes later, they were standing among the bushes, grass speckled with violet flowers. Looking around, he noticed some other Sharenti standing at a distance.. "Come on!" he urged Veronika.

Ciaran stretches after his nap and descided to see if his larger body is stronger. He walks out of his den and climbs to the top of his flying hill. He looks around to make sure nobody is around to see him.

Ciaran,feeling quite certain that nobody will see him trying to fly (in case he messes up), jumps high into the air and starts flying around with ease. "Wow! stronger wings make this a lot easier!"

Kayla decided today she would venture out a bit to explore more than what she was used to. She went home to pack a few useful things. She filled her pack with sleeping supplies, a source of light, and a few berries. Before she set out, she ate a few berries to fill up. She was going to spend a few days exploring outside of the village for experience in the areas she knew nothing about.

Kasumi gets bored of watching the little kits and decides to go practice flying or go exploring. She gets a running start and after jumping a few times while flapping her wings she manages to fly.

With preparations complete, Kayla began to head out before noticing a blueish-white sharenti attempting to fly not so far away. She took this as a last attempt to make a friend before heading out on her exploration. She ran up to the fluttering sharenti- "Hey! Kayla here, and may I ask whom you are?

Kasumi trips and tumbles slightly. Looks at the little kit embarrassed. "Hello, I'm Kasumi Hoshi, but most call me Kasumi."

"Well it's nice to meet you, Kasumi ^^ Where are you headed around this time of day?"

"No where in particular, I'm just going to go exploring."

"Sounds like fun. Shall we head out together to see what's out there? Or if you'd rather check things out at your own pace, that's cool too either way ^^ I'm getting ready to find new places myself. I felt rumbling not but a few days ago. I just want to have a little bit of fun ;D "

"We can travel together if you'd like. I really don't mind. It'll be nice to have company for once."

"Sounds like a plan! Also, have you noticed the low amount of sharenti left in the village? They've all seemed to go running about somewhere. Now it's our turn! Are your preparations complete?"

"I guess so. I don't really have anything to take with me because I never lived in the village. I kinda just go where ever the wind blows me."
