×Here's The deal×

1. I came back from the Menewsha death .

Thus , I have no idea whatsoever of what my art is worth, so, before getting lowballed to the max, I'd want a couple of input so I can have a general idea of what art is worth here .
[I'm from gaia , Obviously , since it's so much easier to get money the price for art is very high, as it does not seem to be the case here.
I hope this forum doesn't ressemble Gaia's pricing forum OTL

2. I need money for college.

I'll throw a bunch of [overused & old] samples and you tell me what's it worth, In real life currency [$$]

It would be pretty grand if you could also specify the genre / type.

I.E : 2$ for digital and 0.50c for Traditional.

[ I hope I get something decent,jeh.]

I don't know a WHOLE lot, since I've never actually sold any art (^_^"), but from what I've read on other sites and such, a lot depends on the media and print, along with style/"quality" (which, really, seems to be defined more by the client than by the artist XD). Smaller prints could probably go anywhere from $5-10, larger prints maybe $15. Original, one-of-a-kind pieces are generally worth more, simply because there isn't another like it, so those might sell for around $20-25. Sometimes, you might come up with something that you spent a LOT of time on (like days or weeks), and you can generally add a few extra dollars to the price for that as well. So, obviously, something you spend weeks working on to the point of total perfection might go from $30-50 whereas something you threw together in an hour might be closer to the $10 range.

And, for some reason (probably because of the one-of-a-kind-ness of it...0.o) traditional media sells for a lot more. So if you had an oil painting on a good canvas, you could likely start the pricing at $50 and go up from there depending on time/quality/size. So I think that's why a lot of large paintings sell for so much, even if you personally might not think it should be (oil paint's expensive, though....I learned that the hard way DX )

But....that's as far as I understand. XD I'm starting to get to the point where I'd love to create some art to sell as well (same reason, college money..ugh. All the money would go right back to my art supplies XD), so I've just been browsing sights and such.

Good luck! After looking through your stuff, I'm sure you'll get some sold. If you're into anime conventions, or even if you're not, that might be a good place to start.
