I'm free from that at the moment, but I have my own special brand of pressing things. "If you do not return the enclosed papers within 10 days you may get your SSI/SSDI case thrown out and have to start all over again, sucker!" and "After more than a week of living here will they finally bring me a microwave so I can eat hot food?"

Nevertheless, if you guys ever need homework help to a small degree, I'd do my best for you. I remember a few years back helping someone online with their mathematics at 2 AM over Yahell! messenger, and I've also proofread part of one of Hatake-sama's essays and offered corrections and advice for the first paragraph or two.

I am qualified to teach K-8th grade core classes (Reading, English, Spelling/Vocabulary, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies) as well as Music, P.E., Spanish (as a foreign language), and Technology. I can assist with high school and college work as well, but it would be more of a peer review than a teacher's assistance at that point.

Scribbled Lore 11-08-2010 02:21 PM

If only I were learning Spanish! Instead I'm trying to learn French.

The_Crow 11-08-2010 02:29 PM

Lo siento, pero no puedo ayadate. (I'm sorry, but I can't help you.) Any french I've learned has been dance terms or strict memorization of a very, very, small handful of songs. I am aware they have at least 5 different phonemes (sounds) we don't have in English, the 'nasals'.

I'm doing self-study Japanese and I could point somebody who is interested in 'the right direction' in terms of learning resources both online and off, however my fluency in Japanese is at about a preschooler's level. I know common phrases, can sound out most hiragana and katakana, but there is still quite a bit missing.

Scribbled Lore 11-08-2010 02:31 PM

My partner took a class in Japanese and knows a little bit but he speaks French almost fluently. In fact he just started a new job speaking French in a call center. He's doing account management.

Aw, I'm really sorry to hear about what's going on for you just now. Any idea when you'll be moving out of the motel?

*huggle*

Scribbled Lore 11-08-2010 06:02 PM

Oh noes! Coffin did the unthinkable!

-Clockwork-Coffin- 11-08-2010 07:03 PM

I'm just that badass ;D

Scribbled Lore 11-08-2010 10:00 PM

You must be since there's been no retribution from Crow yet!

TanaChan 11-09-2010 01:26 AM

Tana was searching the web at work...and found this awsome picture!!!!

The_Crow 11-09-2010 01:29 AM

Oh, don't worry. I will have vengance.

-Borrows Trent Reznor's badass cane of angst and smacking, especially because he is the wicked inspiration for my avatar -

Now, -jumps and hangs upside down from rafters- Clockwork Coffin, you're not paying attention!

-EPIC WHACK UPSIDE CLOCKWORK'S HEAD WITH CANE-

-Waits for Clockwork Coffin to recover consciousness then drops a travel sized packet of Tylenol in front of them, as they are certain to be left with one HELL of a headache-

TanaChan 11-09-2010 01:37 AM

Did see my pic Crow-Sama? I really like it *nods*

The_Crow 11-09-2010 01:39 AM

Tana-dear- The picture you found was nice, and it is quite true. It's why I say it's never a good idea to compare pain.

TanaChan 11-09-2010 01:42 AM

*nods*
I'm at work right now....wich sucks, and I got an Antrax shot today T_T wich means my arm feels like it was punched with a dead arm shot and then put in a vice grip before I gained use of it again

Dottie Mae Evans 11-09-2010 03:23 AM

**looks at picture and nods.**

Hm... today was all right, just this certain medical treatment isn't going to be covered by my insurance till next "year". :( I'll have to wait till next July to get it. I hope I can get it again, if now... I don't know anymore. :S This is ridiculous. I really need this treatment to help me and they think it isn't necessary. There isn't a way to get more treatments either.

Sorry for the complaining everyone. :(

MasterOfSpazz 11-09-2010 03:59 AM

What's the treatment for Lizzy?
If you don't me being nosy.

Scribbled Lore 11-09-2010 02:28 PM

-wonders if it would be inappropriate to laugh at Coffin's misfortune of being smacked upside the head with the cane-

That picture is very true, Tana. I'll have to do better to keep the message in mind - I've not always been the greatest with that.

And, yes, Lizzy, if you don't mind sharing, we're all dying of curiosity. (I don't mind if you complain, I can't get my meds right now either.)

Dottie Mae Evans 11-09-2010 03:42 PM

It isn't medicine, at least insurance will give me a generic medication if they don't pay for the brand name.

This treatment is for my legs, that way the swelling will go down. :S Sadly they only pay for so many treatments, and now I can't get other things I would need (if they paid for more treatments). Such as blood work, MRIs, and other things I would need. My state is really pitiful. :(

Scribbled Lore 11-09-2010 04:17 PM

Aw, that really sucks, Lizzy.

Dottie Mae Evans 11-09-2010 04:23 PM

Yes it does. :( Worst part is the after the treatment stuff. It might burn a hole in my pocket book. :S I guess I have to do what I have to do to get what I need. :S

TanaChan 11-09-2010 05:39 PM

That really sucks....I'm in the military, so I get free medical and dental....I want to try and stay in for 20 years so I can get a retirement check and still get free medical and stuff like that

Scribbled Lore 11-09-2010 08:00 PM

Do you enjoy your service in the military, Tana-chan?

TanaChan 11-09-2010 08:28 PM

hells no
but I can deal with it
when I get out I'm gonna teach little kids

Scribbled Lore 11-09-2010 08:35 PM

That's really cool! I know lots of people that are going into education it seems like. :D

Dottie Mae Evans 11-09-2010 09:26 PM

Hm... my friend is a teacher right now. :) I think he is enjoying it. ^_^; I wanted to be one when I was little, but now I rather be a librarian.

Poor Clocky, he's left the forums in a sulk now. xD

And no Lore, I laughed at him and his poor social skills, so it's all good.
