Phobos and Deimos 11-25-2010 05:25 AM

Desdamin: -oof- Your whalecow on your head has been delivered. Please don't forget to check your trades!

That thing was quite less than fun to carry. -glances up- Deimos, if Atollie wants a whalecow, YOU have to carry it next time!

Computosaurus 11-25-2010 05:28 AM

Congratulations, winners!

The_Crow 11-25-2010 05:39 AM

Computosaurus- Salutations, there. I am indeed sorry that you missed the big pageprize, but there are other spot prizes that come up for our regulars. If you stick around long enough you'll win something, too. The easiest way is to participate in the signature link incentive programme. Have you read about that on the first page?

Computosaurus 11-25-2010 05:40 AM

Thank you for the greeting! :)

Yeah, I did read about the signature incentive program, but I figured it was a little late in the month to participate. :XD

The_Crow 11-25-2010 05:42 AM

You can join at ANY time. It's a rolling thing, just be honest and keep the link for at least a month (if not longer) and it will be cake. Between distractions and then this horrid illness I'm trying to shove out the door like an overweight extended-family member... I haven't even figured out what to give this month (but you can see what has been given previous months).

Computosaurus 11-25-2010 05:46 AM

Hahahahaha, that's a great phrase! Although, I think it mostly applies to me.

OK! I will put the link in and mark the date in this thread so I won't forget. :) Oh, and feel better, ok?!!!!

The_Crow 11-25-2010 02:59 PM

To all the American patrons of our thread: This is my Thanksgiving Sentiment, Addams Family Style

And for the record, I am exactly 1/8th Cherokee. My great-grandfather on my mother's side was full-blooded. My grandmother was born on a Reservation but it was so 'scandalous' she was quickly relocated to New York. Since then, my mother has been born in Southern California while I was born in Georgia.

Dottie Mae Evans 11-25-2010 03:40 PM

Hm... that video made me think. :) I forgot which Family Addams movie that was though. :(

Anyways enjoy Thanksgiving everyone. :)

**munches on first round of food in a little while. Offers to share some**

Computosaurus 11-25-2010 04:43 PM

That was "Addams Family Values" haha, I love both of those movies. :XP I know they did a broadway show version last year that did not do very well. I asked Santa for a bootleg copy of it, haha.

@The_Crow: OK! I added a link to here in my signature last night. It will be easy to remember when a month passed because it will be Christmas Eve! It's really not fancy, so let me know if you want me to make it smexier somehow. Have a great Turkey Day! Eat a lot!

The_Crow 11-25-2010 05:08 PM

Actually, the 2nd movie where that clip is from is "Addams Family Values". The evil 'black widow' who wants to marry Uncle Fester then kill him for his life insurance/inheiritance suggests sending the kids off to camp because they're too nosy.

When I'm more effeminate with long hair and such, I have been told that I resemble Wednesday Addams in these movies.

-Clockwork-Coffin- 11-25-2010 05:26 PM

Glad to see that The Addams family is still a part of the thread ;D

Computosaurus 11-25-2010 05:30 PM

Oh yeah, I am spacey this morning. I love Addams Family. Did anyone else watch the cartoon? I hope I am not dating myself by asking that... :stare:

TanaChan 11-25-2010 06:04 PM

lols, that video was funny

The_Crow 11-25-2010 06:09 PM

As long as I am part of the thread, The Addams Family will be a part of the thread. Enough said.

Dottie Mae Evans 11-25-2010 07:11 PM

I remember the cartoon, but vaguely. :( I hadn't seen it in ages, so I really don't remember all of the episodes. :S But I did enjoy the cartoons. :D!

I  the Addams Family more then I did the Munsters. ;) I do like some of the 60s classics, but Addams Family tops ;)

I am still 22 by the way. XD!

TanaChan 11-25-2010 07:24 PM

Tana is going to be going soon, get to go to a friend shouse to have some turkey dinner

Atollie 11-26-2010 01:08 AM

Crow
Sorry I've been away, I'd like a whalecow on my head thank you.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. ^^

Computosaurus 11-26-2010 01:01 PM

Thank you, LizzyCollinsDeArc! You made me feel better by saying you remember all those things, hehe. We definitely need more monster shows on TV now. A nice hodgepodge of monsters, not just vampires and werewolves... ok, I guess zombies are on TV now. You know what?! Just put monsters in every show! It'll make them better! :illgetu:

Dottie Mae Evans 11-26-2010 01:42 PM

@ Computosaurus- Yeah, a monster or something similar to a monster can be put in every show that "calls for" a monster. :)

Hm... I think Ugly Americans has all types of strange beings on it. XD! Bird people, Zombies, Monsters, Wizards, and even humans. Now that show is funny. Anyone seen that show.

Also how was Thanksgiving for everyone? I ate till I was full. :)

Atollie 11-26-2010 04:54 PM

Thanksgiving was pretty good thanks, I ate wayy too much. Did you go black friday shopping?

Computosaurus 11-26-2010 08:47 PM

The only Black Friday shopping I have done was on other Avatar Communities... :gonk:

Atollie 11-26-2010 08:54 PM

Ohh hmm that makes me wonder if any of the online stores I like are having any sales. Then again there is cyber monday for that. Mene should have had a black friday sale lol it would have been fun. ^^

Computosaurus 11-26-2010 08:59 PM

Cyber Monday? Oh man, I thought all the online stores were having their sales today! Only Amazon.com: Online Shopping for Electronics, Apparel, Computers, Books, DVDs & more had a sale out of all the sites I shop at.

TanaChan 11-26-2010 09:38 PM

RAWER!
That would be cool to have a one day sale for hte stuff in the shops on here

The_Crow 11-27-2010 12:05 AM

The day after Thanksgiving, or "Black Friday" is a most disgusting show of consumerism and greed. People trample each other, literally, to the point of hospitalizations, even in small towns (I spent one thanksgiving where this was on all of the news channels). Locally, and since I have worked in Retail, some stores are 'crazy' enough to have sales starting at 4 AM, which means the staff have to be there preparing at 3. Very little time for actual rest, relaxation, and being thankful after the time that is supposedly spent with friends and family (who are usually going balistic over the details to make everything perfect to the point where it is... painful). I support the Friday after thanksgiving as:

Why (the classic version)?

(And last year's rendition):
