We don't have black friday in the UK, what are it's origins anyway?

Also since it's Saturday here you'll be pleased to know I did indeed buy nothing.

I don't go shopping on black Friday, and the only reason I would is if they had a really good deal on an appliance that I really needed.

I go for the fun of it. it's something my mom, my sister. and I do together every year. Black friday originated when the stock market crashed in 1929, it was the day after the crash.

Well, if you have a bit of time hopefully you will no longer be stuck in your panties by the end of the night (or whatever time of day it is where you might reside).

The user 'pinging' feature is done by starting with the @ sign, then spelling the person's username correctly, then putting a ; at the very end. There are no spaces in the above three parts, and make sure that you have their name 100%, for example if you look at a link of my name it appears there is a space, "The Crow", however since that is taken by an abandoned account, I do in fact have an underscore "The_Crow".

What happened at the other site?

There's nothing worse than being booted off a site when you've done nothing wrong. That happened to me once when my cousin was staying with me...graaar! D<

I don't mind blood in the least, in fact I am quite fond of it -grins mischeviously-. I am currently involved in a Vampire RP here on Menewsha. As the GM/ST is leaving for a few days as of tomorrow now would be a great time to get caught up on the story and work on a character profile (but not submit it) if you are interested in joining. I'm being left in charge temporarily but do not have the authority to accept/reject profiles and players.

Also Lizzy-dear, I would urge you to make a thread in Life Issues. The people who do reply are kind, and you can also have a more condensed area to post your problems and/or progress as you work through it.

Hey guys, how is everyone today? I got some Christmas present wrapping done today, which I'm happy about. I am surrounded by boxes in my room because it feels very soul-crushing to unpack them. I just moved back in with my parents. :cry: But wrapping presents got a few boxes out of my room, and I did not have to feel anymore settled into my parents' house. I hope that made sense. :sweat:

Hello everyone. :) Things are looking up for me for now. I just have to study for this test and final. >_<; Anyways, how is everyone?

Atollie-dear- It's nothing personal if you get taken off the white list. I do it by user activity and you were gone for quite some time. The fact that it took you a few extra pages to claim your prize was a bit of a warning sign for me. If you're around and active I can put you right back where you were, but the white list is people who are likely to post on every page and therefore any new user could look for any of them. It has nothing to do with trustworthiness or not being liked anymore -reassuring hug- If you're busy with other things, then you are busy, and that is okay.
