Scribbled Lore: Ah, You have been missed! Fantastic to know that you're still doing well. I've tried Cognitive Behavioural Therapy as well, and I understand the basics, but it is harder to make the actual change in my life. I'm much more of a "Dialectic" person to begin with, and even when we do exercises with worksheets with 'heavily loaded questions' I find myself crossing many words out and replacing them, etc. But yes, I cannot say for sure for myself, but based on the feedback that I have received from others, DBT is something good to have in my life.

I'm still having sleeping issues, though. I slept through my therapist appointment today. T_T

Scribbled Lore 07-02-2011 02:38 PM

I'm moving this weekend, Lizzy, into a less humid and mold free apartment! I'm in a DBT program and seeing a psychiatrist on the 19th. Spawn is growing, CZ is still working. Packing is a pain the arse, though, and Spawn is a tad bit grumpy today.

I've been blogging about my treatment over at withoutcover on WordPress, Crow. It's been going.. kind of well, mostly well. Not really sure - understanding how it works or is supposed to is easy but implementing it is a bit harder.

Dottie Mae Evans 07-03-2011 03:12 AM

Awesome. :) I am moving sometime in August to Virginia. Most of my credits transferred but ten of them, but that is ok though. :) Anyways I hope to find a new psychiatrist when I am up there in August/September. :S Sometimes it is very hard to find a good one/a specialty one. Well I'll read your blog later.

@ Crow- ping me when the shinnies are handed out. :) I am going to sleep now.

Saravi Boo: you sure can :3

Dottie Mae Evans 07-04-2011 12:43 AM

Dottie Mae Evans 07-04-2011 02:12 PM

**munches as breakfast as she waits for shinnies to be given out** Crow want some breakfast? I have cereal, well mostly the kiddie kind. I still eat crunch berries and chocolate cereal. :P Not in the same bowl of course. XD!

The_Crow 07-04-2011 02:50 PM

Reese's Puffs cereal is what I normally buy... it's like peanut butter crunch and cocoa puffs together. I'm sorry I haven't advanded on the awards. I've actually been depressed for the past couple of days. I've messed up quite a few things and have come really close to taking it out on myself physically in a less than healthy way. I've made my 'baby steps' though, so I just need to go through the process of translating the results... you don't want to know what goes through my mind so much of the time.

I think it is why I really relate to characters such as The Crow and The Doctor. They're both crazy, and have done some less than perfect things (being either between life and death, or over 900 years old, or both like a vampire will do that to you), but overall they are 'good crazy'. I pray that I stay on the 'good' side of good crazy.

Dottie Mae Evans 07-04-2011 03:22 PM

**hands you a bowl of Reese's puffs then**

Hm... Which doctor though? Is it Matt Smith? Because they were a lot of actor's playing that role. For all I know, you could be in the Tom Baker stage. :heart: Then again, Tom Baker is a giant. You'll stay on the "light side", Crow. You do have a good heart from what I can tell. ^_^;

Anyways, here something to make you laugh: I guess I have to pm it to you. :(

Scribbled Lore 07-05-2011 09:10 PM

I'm partial to the 9th Doctor myself but I do love the 10th Doctor. The 11th Doctor is.. not my cup of tea but I love River Song and Rory Pond, so. Totally willing to watch the Rory Pond/River Song show. :XD

-peeks in- 'ello poppets! ^.^

Saravi Boo 07-06-2011 03:50 PM

*wanders through* Hmm...did Crow ever finish the shiny draw? No pressure, just wondering if I missed it somewhere. ^_^'

WinglessFairy 07-06-2011 04:10 PM

-runs around throwing cookies everywhere-

Jymphoni 07-07-2011 12:25 AM

Wow. Nice avi, Wingless!

Burger King 07-07-2011 12:38 AM

Burger King will provide food as you guys wait for Crows shinnies to be distributed. :) **hands out food**

Anyways how is everyone today?

The_Crow 07-07-2011 08:21 AM

My apologies for the delay but I at least am managing to process new users, and the double shiny will be well justified.

Honestly I've been depressed. My sleep troubles have led to many problems and when a person at the hospital today said I "failed" my appointment I asked her not to use that word due to my depression of events lately. she used it again... I ended up breakign things and making more sharp things in the process and I had to hand them over to the people behind the desk before I started to hurt myself, which I've been craving to do for almost a week now.

I am mad, usually in a good way but not always. I'm trying to keep the less than pleasant bit contained but it is still surging through me.

I am depressed. It is not something I can 'snap out of'. I hope I can make it to my DBT group tomorrow. It seems to be the anything to be able to make any small dent whatsoever, but that is the point of it... enough small dents will eventually make a large difference.

WinglessFairy 07-07-2011 02:20 PM

thanks Jymphoni! ^.^

aww D: -huggles The Crow-
yes, you're right, enough little things make a big difference ^.^
-hugs- let me know if there's anything I could do to help D:

Saravi Boo 07-07-2011 04:18 PM

Hang in there Crow. *huggles*
