Red velvet cake is definately a weakness of mine. Make sure my enemies do not get their hands on this knowledge. On the bright side, you get pies for posting in any thread, not just the event thread so you can check and keep up with your regular ones along with going ballistic in the event forum.

TanaChan 08-10-2011 06:59 PM

Ooooo, red velvet....Tana had a chance to get some from a stranger who was eatting some.

The_Crow 08-10-2011 07:06 PM

A stranger, Tana-dear? If you come and visit me there is a delightful cafe that has trays upon trays of freshly made cupcakes and other delectables, and one of their staples is red velvet. I will buy you your very own personal red velvet cupcake should you come visit me.

WinglessFairy 08-10-2011 07:22 PM

Yush indeed! -dances around happily-

Saravi Boo 08-10-2011 07:29 PM

*huggles Crow* ^_^

----------

And wingless.... Sorry! ^_^ *huggles* Did I miss anybody with the hugging?

Scribbled Lore 08-10-2011 07:51 PM

I wonder what the going rate is for information on Crow's weaknesses on Menewsha's black market.

WinglessFairy 08-10-2011 07:54 PM

yay hugs!

Saravi Boo 08-10-2011 08:09 PM

Lore, *hugs* hmm....not sure....42gold? 42 is an awesome number.

Scribbled Lore 08-10-2011 08:16 PM

It is the answer!

WinglessFairy 08-10-2011 08:18 PM

42 is an awesome number indeed!

Saravi Boo 08-10-2011 09:16 PM

But what was the question? ;)

Scribbled Lore 08-10-2011 09:49 PM

G'luck finding that one out. :XD

Saravi Boo 08-10-2011 11:52 PM

lol. Poor silly aliens. ^_^'

Anywho. Like the new duds, Lore.

Scribbled Lore 08-10-2011 11:54 PM

Ah, yeah? Thanks. I've decided to be content with my simple inventory since I want to start up a charity. Gotta put my gold where my mouth is.

Saravi Boo 08-10-2011 11:57 PM

Well a simple inventory can be quite satisfying if you have items that can interchange.

Scribbled Lore 08-11-2011 12:11 AM

I'm not particularly good at the fashion aspect of having an avatar so I've been thinking about just going naked. Or picking out a single outfit and just wearing it all the time. I think nekkid might be the better option.

Saravi Boo 08-11-2011 12:16 AM

You'll be more appealing as a charity owner if you look like someone who has something to give. *shrugs* I recommend you come up with an outfit you really like and stick with it if you don't like the hassle of changing avis.

Estrella sort of does that...wears one outfit for a long time before she changes. She even has contests to design her new outfits in her charity. lol.

Scribbled Lore 08-11-2011 12:20 AM

Huh, that's not a bad idea. And, yeah, you're right - people like to give things to other people who are dressed nicely.

Saravi Boo 08-11-2011 12:24 AM

Yep, you'll get more shiny donations if you don't look like a desperate newbie. ^_^'

Scribbled Lore 08-11-2011 01:37 PM

Ahahahah. Yeah. Well, I'll save up some gold for the charity and then make 2-3 really nice looking outfits and sell the rest of my commons and be content with what I have. I don't really need a whole lot to be happy.

The_Crow 08-11-2011 02:26 PM

I think everyone generally has the right vibe about how your avatar should be dressed when runnning a charity, Scribbled. For me, I see it as a subconscious vibe of not wanting to take something from 'somebody with nothing'. The more you 'have', the more you have to give. I would sometimes go into a store and buy a second bagel for a homeless person outside, but if I'm 25 cents short for bus fare I'm going to ask somebody who looks like they have the money to spare. I suppose you just have to establish your place in the food chain. There are those with gold and item amounts who can run circles around me, yet I'm sure there is a large population of the site that would consider me relatively rich in items at least, not so much in pure gold.

Scribbled Lore 08-11-2011 03:03 PM

I'm not going to flash my CIs for the sake of looking rich despite having a drawer full of them. :XD I'll make better use out of them to look more established, however. It's a fine line to walk.

I suppose I ought to pick up this months for the charity anyways. I could pick me up some too. All this because I didn't have to go to skills group twice this week and have a bit of extra cash floating around that I want to spend. Menewsha seems worthy of it. :XD :D Y'know, considering I spend most of my online time here.

The_Crow 08-11-2011 03:09 PM

Well, right now neither my main nor my birdies are trying to 'Flash CIs'. My cosplay of 'The Raggedy Doctor' uses four different CIs plus commons. Phobos and Deimos have 3 CIs plus commons. I really enjoy the fact that all of the CIs these days are multi-equips so they are very flexible. I have a small handful of 'crow-style' commons that I keep, but otherwise when I do something such as cosplay I buy what I need for the cosplay then sell them back when I'm done.

Scribbled Lore 08-11-2011 03:14 PM

I'm generally not able to sell things back after I buy them; I'd rather keep and hoard the items I buy, even if I rarely or never use them. Is why I have so many items at the moment that I want to get rid of. :stare:

Saravi Boo 08-11-2011 03:37 PM

Well, a charity is a good way to get rid of stuff you don't want but don't want to sell. ^_^ Just make a shiny pile and throw stuff into it to use for prizes. ^_^

I'm a hoarder too...but I try to keep it reasonable....at least on mene. lol
