I may disappear tomorrow. My electricity is going to be shut off if I can't come up with $200 dollars. They might even shut it off tonight but I'm praying they don't.

Same here - I'm sorry to hear that Boo. Things are really tight for you right now?

Yeah, that is something of an understatement. lol. I have bills overdue in excess of a thousand dollars and my bank account contains about ten dollars. My husband and I are both unemployed and nowhere around here seems to be hiring....or at least not hiring us. Most places that try to help are currently out of funding so I don't know that social services will be able to help. Oh, and my husband keeps threatening to kill himself if things get worse. Since having no electricity and his car being repo'ed qualify as worse, I'm very concerned about him.

I have money but it seems like everyone wants money from me. My car registration is due, just seems like every piece of mail I get is someone wanting money from me. It's rather depressing. Here's to hoping they give you some leeway, Boo, and we're with you in spirit and all that.

Thanks Crow. I had that going on until the money ran out. Now they still want it but I've got none to give. *shrugs* Hopefully I can figure something out. If nothing else I may end up taking my husband to the hospital for his own protection tomorrow. He has agreed to go if the electricity gets shut off because he says he can't deal with that and he'll hurt himself.

That's really, really intense and scary to have to deal with, Boo. I'm really sorry that you're having to go through this. Is there anything we could do to help raise your spirits?

No, I think the 5 that we have are all we're going to get in the way of EIs.

I sort of hope so. I might be able to swing a complete second set if that is the case.

I'm fairly sure that all the EIs are out now. I don't need a whole lot more in the way of pies to be able to pick up a third set.

I've had all week to post so I'm trying to get as many sets as possible. If I can get a third set then I'll have two for the charity and one for myself. I hope I get as good a chance as I've had for this event to post in the future for other events.

I've had all week as well but I've had other obligations limiting my playtime.

I've been really lucky in that I haven't had much in the way of limitations. *is lucky!*

Well, it looks like two complete sets is within reach and I acquired some nifty spiffy new shinies for the pile... hoping to thin out the remaining eggs and christmas cookies with things that are much more interesting. MCRAngel won an irridescent squid and I haven't even seen her don it!

I haven't seen her much lately but the event has taken up so much of my time. And everyone's time, really. I'm looking forward to things getting back to normal and hanging out in my regular threads again.
