Hello there. How is everyone in this thread, also how are the new peoples? :D!

Well, since the site has officially been trying to make an effort to help new users, first by selling donated items at a reduced price (that anybody could buy, however), and now they're letting users attempt to pixel items, things have been pretty slow here. However, unless the site gets a stable system going to meet the needs of the new faces Menewsha, the charity will remain open... even if we are collecting dust!

Boo is back as well. Though I will have to be going to bed soon. It is a work night and six thirty happens really early in the morniing for some reason. lol. ^_^' I will try to get on some more this weekend.

We're going to have Crow-sama start a thread about the 'intellectual property' of the name of the new user store.
The goal of helping new users is great. However, the name they chose, and at the low prices (equivalent the to 'peasant' starter clothes) almost make this charity moot. If any of you have any thoughts, please let us know. We will come up with the best argument we can, however if the site staff does not compromise, it will lead to the dissolution of this charity, because in name, and with a few clicks, they have institutionalized what we have been doing by hand for years(?). Our purpose has been made moot. |
Hm... we could change the charity's purpose, although I don't know what y'all think about that. :( I wouldn't want this charity to close...

The charity's purpose is it's foundation.
Without a foundation, it would be nothing other than yet another giveaway, no matter how fun or creative, there are already a nest-full of those floating about. To our knowledge this is the site's longest running charity (to date) with the primary purpose of helping new Menewshans (and on more levels than just getting clothes), but now by taking our name, and with a few clicks they have a 'cheat code' that renders our thought out acclimation system useless. |
