Yeah. There is one site I could always go back to because they know me and love me. Although I hadn't really liked the site the way I use to. :S I still like the people on that one site though. :)

I didn't know this site was around when I was a 'Senior' in high school or I would had joined. :heart:

All of my friends were on the "G-site" and I was overwhelmed at first. However in the "extended discussion" threads I found it wasn't so bad. However, things only got worse. No moderation for more users, their marketplace increased inflation through the roof, so much illegal hacking and buying of currency, botting, people breaking the rules left and right... and nobody seemed to care. Then the site itself sold us out. I think the turning point was when they could no longer call their donation letters DONATION letters because they were officially not for profit anymore, they were out for money, with the game cards and all the corperate sponsors down our throat... and giving their own users spyware... that's just horrid and disgusting on so many levels. I don't think I will even forgive them for that.

Life happens and I come and go, but Menewsha has more or less stuck to its convictions from what I've seen. I didn't like having to purchase the normally free anniversary item, but if that's the worst I have to complain about... compared to all I've mentioned above, I'd say we're doing quite well, especially since Menewsha has a policy of no advertisements, a policy I keep on my own domain as well.

Did they really have to change the name on the G-site? wow.... yea... there is only a few games on there and a few people on there that I talk to, but i do not enjoy the policies there.

You had to buy the anniversary items here? wow... I had no clue they did that.

Yeah we had to buy the anniversary item this year. Still I would rather have it that way than not get an anniversary item at all. *shrugs* It is still much better than Gaia and Mene really needs the money. Gaia is just greedy. :P I was a member there for several years but the lack of decent moderation among other things drove me away. I found Mene and never really looked back. *huggles Mene*

My goal is really just to pick up where i left off. I was around in 2009 but then left apparently when Mene had started to get super active and had all the CI's when i went on my hiatus, so now I am just trying to get what I had missed.

The charity has just received a lovely donation including all kinds of springtime EIs, such as the wonderfully colouered wings that will never be availible in stores again! You might wish to adjust your signatures accordingly if you wish to participate in our signature link incentive programme!

This weekend I plan to work on the charity a bit. I have a (good, don't worry) announcement concerning the way I'm handing the charity in terms of the goods for new users. A hint is: since there is now a cheap store aimed at that demographic, I'm going to have to up the ante of my stock, and there will be a small celebration for all.

While I am at 'doing charity stuff', I'll have the birdies fly over a couple of the most recent pages, and who knows, they might see a number they like as well. I'm going to try to get up a screenshot of our current pile (so maybe you can cross your fingers and wish for something).

I like birdies. I will have to keep my cats away from them. >.>' cat's aren't nice to birdies or insects or mice...
