Yes, let us try to keep the religious talk to a moderate level, else I might need to ask people to stop talking about it altogether. I appreciate that you have the self-awareness to do such yourselves.

However, I apologise if somebody else made you feel like 'bad' Christian. You know, Jesus wasn't a Christian. He was a completely pious Jew... who thought differently. The 'Christian Church' wasn't even established until 200-300 years after he was dead. My mother... who had/has a learning disability... managed to get 'held back' in Sunday School and she regretted it for years. She was like "YOU CAN'T FLUNK CHURCH!" and it really messed her up. She's come around by now. A suppose a large turning point was her watching me grow up with the AWANA clubs from 3rd grade to 8th grade, it gave me something positive after my heart-breaking parents divorce and kept me on the straight and narrow all the way until I moved to California. But then, she would come to Church for Easter with me, and when I wanted to be Baptised as my 'final' thing before I moved from Gerogia, my Mom decided she wanted to be Baptised with me. Thankfully, my church was non-denominational, but it's really about what's in your heart and what you do, not what some old people in some heirarchy tell you. I dress in black, am into the macabre, but the choices I make and how I help people (especially children), I feel like I'm following what Jesus, that Jew who thought differently, would do.

Indeed, I'm probably not what people would think of when they think of a devout Christian. I play D&D and White Wolf's World of Darkness (pen and paper roleplaying games), watch anime, love fantasy and science fiction, and I also wear A LOT of black clothing. I'm also on the worship team at my church along with my tattooed hubby with his gauged ears. lol. None of that makes us bad Christians as far as I know. *shrugs* I tend to take the no judging rule in the bible seriously. I apologize if someone has made you feel bad about yourself.

Crow: Fail church? That is really messed up. You can't fail church...or at least no one else can tell you that you are failing church. That's between you and God. Rant over. Oh and I was in Awana too! ^_^

Alright I'm really dropping this topic now. *huggles Crow*

Saravi Boo is there any meaning behind your name?

Clock would definitely love a veggie burger right now.
but instead, Clock is going to make spinach and provolone pizza.

[:)] I had four mini tacos and a Slurpee today. Maybe I should had some healthier food though. :S

**nods at what Crow said** I try not to go too deep into spirituality and religion in your thread. If I do so, I didn't mean to. :S **realizes she left her Mene logged on overnight** #_#; Oh dear... good thing my laptop was locked.

dessertdesiert 09-18-2012 06:03 PM

Where did you leave your laptop?

Well if my niece was in the house, she would figure out a way. :S Or my baby nephew punching buttons. >_<; He already messed up my AC adapter. My brother didn't watch him. [cry] I should get a new AC adapter when I can.

@Lizzy-dear- I learned from observation of my IT mentor (plus all of the horror stories of said 'goatse' and 'tubgirl' which I managed to avoid) to WINDOWS+L every time I walk away from my laptop and out of the room. One time OUR BOSS left his computer unlocked when NCUR was at our Universitity, the National Conference for Undergraduate Research... we normally send a small group there, the whole nation normally doesn't come to US. Also, our lovely university management doesn't have an A/V department, so it's kinda divided between the library and IT, so everyone was really stressed. My friends went in and changed all of the windows sounds on his computer to .wavs they have download, and he was all "Hey guys, I think I have a virus!" and they were laughing their assses off being like "No, you have EMPLOYEES".

I also found this lately and decided to keep it to share at a later point, and I'm glad I did. [pirate]

dessertdesiert 09-18-2012 06:56 PM

OMG that's hillarious Crow, I want to do that to someone.

Clock hasn't been eating that healthy either lately,
which she should, but money is tight and work is taking up a lot of time,
and now doctors appointments on top of that,
so crappy eating it has been.

Yes. My name is Sara and my middle initial is V. and I always write my name Sara V. So you get Saravi when you read it quickly out loud (Sehrahvee is sort of how I say it). Boo is a nickname I've had since I was about two or three years old. My whole family calls me Boo, along with some of my closest friends (including people on Mene *huggles* ). I actually prefer Boo to Sara or Saravi. *shrugs*

[:(] At least I am close to a reasonable priced vegetable market. [:)]

Although the drought might have caused them to go up. Hm... frozen veggies isn't that pricey but meh depends on the store. :S

@ Crow- lol that's wrong but funny.

ClockReject 09-19-2012 03:57 PM

Lizzy; the market here is only saturdays,
and Clock has worked every saturday this month,
so she hasn't been able to get to the market.

Clocks not a huge fan of frozen vegetables.

Naoto-chan22 09-19-2012 07:29 PM

Oh. [:(] We have like a vegetable stall like thing that's open five days a week. From early morning till 1 or 2pm.

I can understand why you wouldn't like frozen vegetables.

I only buy certain blends of them myself (frozen vegetable wise that is).

@Naoto- Hello how are you?

ClockReject 09-20-2012 12:57 AM

-pounces on Nao-

Clock is jelly of your vegetable stall!
Frozen vegetables are just no fun.

@star2000shadow- Long time no see, my dear. What has been keeping you from Menewsha? Is it this 'real life' plague? If so, I hope things were more positive than negative. Welcome back. No matter how long you are gone, you are always welcome here, and I hope you remember that... never feel embarassed to come back to this thread, okay? :)

'shudders' ICK... kinda explained why the doctor dind't pop it on me.. though at that point i'd of decked him cause my leg HURT.. and WALKING hurt..
I ended up there for a week and then they let me go and 'sigh' anyways its semi healed now.. not really but at least tis BETTER and um.. 'frown' beign a pain on healing hte scab refuses to stay and i need it to heal.. and a tthe same time i need to wear my compression bandages and stuff but that stuff makes hte scab come off.. can we see the problem here?

Saravi Boo 09-23-2012 05:44 PM

*huggles Star* That sounds unpleasant. My father in law had some similar issues (bandages were needed but they destroyed the little healing that was happening) with a wound on his leg, though I imagine his was more severe (gangrene), at least I hope yours isn't that bad. O_o' I will pray for a speedy healing for you. *hugs* ^_^
