Yeah. At least hopefully I am able to wake up to go to book sorting tomorrow. Then I can box the books for the sale. ^_^; The sale is in December.

It's for the Friends of the Library. I just volunteer there. To tell you the truth, I am just volunteering there to keep the adult manga out of the children's section, but I did slip up once due to the massive piles of children's books that kept on coming.

Yeah and some older teen manga isn't in young adults due to the subject matter. It ends up going to fine arts, but the sales committee mentality is it is all kids stuff. >_<; Which is not true at all. Some titles I end up either buying at the sale or hope some manga fan over sixteen buys them. I sometimes send it to county store during the sorting cycle due to the fact it is too graphic to sell. So yeah... I only take some mature titles but not all. We hadn't got that many, just some older teen titles but they were okay.

Well it is really good that you do that. It is cool that the library has manga though. I know the one I went to didn't have much manga at all. ;D But I'd rather it not have any at all after if it was adult mangas that I checked out with my mom. LOL. But that was a while ago.

Yeah. As for the library system it self, it has manga but not the adult titles or risky titles. We might get more of an adult collection but it will be placed in fine arts of course. It isn't adult as in porn but situations and such.

So yeah... I hope the book sale committee changes it's tune soon because since they could sell it for higher prices. Some of the manga they do get are somewhat rare/out of print. So they should try to sell them for a higher price, but meh they can only get what they can out of it. Oh well, I'm not on the committee or board, and I doubt they'll listen to anything I have to suggest anyways. :-/ At least I learned about book dealing and such.

Yeah, when they get new leadership or management at the library. :S Also the price of manga tends to fluctuate when it is out of print. One volume might be worth pennies whole the next one might be worth $100.

Yeah. It's pretty crazy but very awesome. And yeah the board could definitely need that information.

Yeah but meh... the actual admin library staff are from a certain generation so meh. If they're still around when I get my degree, maybe I'll get a job. If not, maybe there might be progressive change? Who knows... Right now I just want to get my education, and read what manga I can before I end up in the working world. Falcomwing- Are you asking for instructions on how to ping? The answer is to begin using the @ sign the you type username exactly as it us with no spaces (unless they do have spaces, such as "Phobos and Deimos"), and immediately when you are done typing the username you end it with a ;.

Generally, pings don't work on me. Nor do trade notifications. For a while it was one or the other, now they are both broken. The only exception is Kirin and they use it to an extent which I consider nearly abuse and each time they say "I know i said I'd never do this again". Even though Kirin is in fact my menewshan friend, I am on the very threshold of removing them from the official 'friends list' just for the superficial reason of being exempt from their pings. Normally it is because they want to chat and I don't get the message until 14 hours later?

However the message about you seemed relevant and struck a symathetic chord within me. Phobos and Deimos should arrive soon. Please update your quest thread list in the meanwhile to ensure it is as accurate as possible.

This is not a quest assistance thread, but since it is my charity I can make executive decisions and if a friend of a friend is in need, and I happen to run a charity... I can make something happen. >=)

Trust me, the list is updated as much as it possibly can. I have got Kirin trading me Raven ankle wings and the fox faced slippers but that is the only thing that is not grayed out on my list. The rest I am still questing for. Oh I do need to make off the Festival Ribbon. I got that yesterday. I will do that right away but anyways, how are you?

Hmm...I need to make a Halloween avi as well. This one was just for fun but I'm getting bored with it and it is too much like my mule's usual (and current) outfit. O_o'

It is difficult to come up with ideas. I wish they had some more traditional items for monsters like vampire fangs or frankinstein's neck bolts, or some more stuff like that.

They do have frankenstein's bolts and vampire fangs...along withstuff to make zombies, medusas, kappas, harpies, aliens, tengu, dragons, lizardmen, imps, demons, gargoyles...and I could probably come up with others if I looked through my inventory. *shrugs* What in particular were you wanting?
