There should be a way to subscribe to threads.

I don't use this feature so I can't tell you more about it, but I'm sure you can find more information in the FAQ section.

You will also recieve a PM if someone pings you.

Menewsha isn't too fond of double-posting. So if you post directly after yourself, it with automatically merge your posts. It does count as one post.

You can override this feature, but I don't recommend it, unless you're setting up a thread and need to reserve multiple posts.
