To be fair, well it has been so long, now, for me and so much has happened, I can't remember the exact situation that brought me to Mene, either. I was just curious so there's no need to apologise. I'm pretty sure it was an ad campaign, either on Facebook or Gmail or somesuch. Either way, it caught my attention enough to come here. It had everything I liked about (dare I say the name?) Gaia, minus everything that I detested, so it was pretty much love at first sight.

I was searching "avatar community sites", I think. XD

Hm...I've gotten a few donations from other users. Am I still eligible for donations from this charity?

However, you still qualify from a gift from the "Shiny Pile"... random items (some of which are rare and worth thousands of gold). We use the random number generator. I just need to startle the Charity Birds into action ;)

Also I stumbled across Menewsha because I wanted an avatar generator. I ended up joining Menewsha after lurking. ^_^;

I'm... not sufficiently awake. I just attempted to put together what I knew about "the mystery of the stolen tarts" from the last event. I'm not sure if the acctual time I see is the "Mene time" or not, so I might have been a little past the deadline but it sounds like they were hoping for last minute theories. Of course I sent it to the wrong person, so I'm really questioning how much what I put together can be trusted.

So umm... I really have nothing. I don't necessarily need anything but if anyone wants to contribute something that would be awesome! ^_^ I remember when 100g was hard to obtain on Gaia but that was like... 2005. So it's a bit of a throwback here but still amusing.

Hello Kva. I signed up on Gaia January of 2004. Not before then because it was "competition" for my own community site back in 2003. Trying to compete didn't last long (I didn't have avatars for people =/). Alas, I think it is safe to say that Gaia has been "tanking" for a while, and the final straw was when they fired a bunch of staff that actually cared. You'll always be welcome here (provided you don't turn into a ragining lunatic under the full moon or somesuch.)

^_^ I started on Gaia in 2004 too. Then they got far too interested in money and I found Mene. ^_^ Mene is awesome.

Also, 100G might be a bit harder to get here than it is on Gaia, but here you can actually buy quite a few things for less than 100G. lol. ^_^' Gaia's prices are insane.
