Ta-da! You're clothed! I know that many people from gaia are disheartened at not receiving ANYTHING upon starting which is why I started my charity. The small 'price' you have to pay is posting a few times to me or another charity regular (which earns you a bit of gold) results in you getting clothed and sometimes getting an extra bonus or two.

Now you can work towards bigger and better things, without having to do so in virtual underwear >_<;

Yeah its kinda strange starting off with no clothes and wearing just underwear.Kinda freaked me out a little =P
Its a good idea making people work for gifts and it helps that you get gold in the process!

I was so annoyed when they came out with the cool starter outfits for newbies on Gaia. I had joined when we still got peasant outfits as a start up gift. :stare:

Gaia used to be like Mene but the admins got lazy and things started to go down hill. I wish I could transfer all my stuff from Gaia to Mene. Then I'd never have to go back and I could keep all my cool items. :sweat: I worked really hard for those cool items.

If i could only do that,i have so many cool shoes! In so many colours too D: and my Angelic Manner xD But then id have nothing on my gaia but everything on my mene xD

Having nothing on Gaia wouldn't really be a problem for me. I hardly ever visit the site anymore and don't know anyone there.

I still have my gaia but since zOMG is really laggy for me i've lost interest D:

I used to play zOMG all the time with my partner but we haven't played in months. It sucks cos I liked that game but it's not worth the effort, if you ask me.

Yeah it was the only way i got my gold,that and selling stuff.But now im lagging major and i have no clue how to stop it and theres leechers and such >_<
Edit: Plus it lags(and its not my comp) and it takes ages for someone to fix it.

Between my main and my mule on gaia, my accounts are "worth" 30 million gold. Due to that, I can't just up and delete them, but I barely do much of anything there any more. I like menewsha much better. They haven't sold their soul to sponsoring (hell they don't even have ANY advertisements), they don't try to put spyware on your computer in exchange for naive under age children to get 'cash' (either that or flat out stealing their parents credit cards, it was on the news). Also, with the exception of two CIs per month, all items are attainable with the regular currency: gold as opposed to all of the 'evolving items' 'premium items', and 'random chance items' which get 90% of the attention.

I'm not afraid to say it: Gaia has downright whored themselves out but I have too much invested there to just cut all strings. I wish I could take my 'equivalent' off of gaia and transfer it to Menewsha. That would be spectacular!

I only go on my gaia now for my friends,i would miss them to much if i just went xD

You can always invite your friends to join Menewsha. Especially once you've gotten the hang of things around here... you can be their mentor and friend. Just a thought.

Well you know that if you get them to my thread they'll have a very hard (</sarcasm>) time getting the starter clothes/peasant clothes, so that's something that you don't have to worry about.

I don't have statistics at my fingertips but I'm willing to wager that 80-90% of us are former, current, or 'I can't delete my account because it's worth too much!' Gaians.

Things are a little different around here but you're making steps in the right direction by posting here... just four more posts for each of you chatting with myself, Scribbled Lore, or other Menewshans, new or seasoned, and you'll receive starter clothes for absolutely free. :)

Zarek- Don't worry, the 'messaging system' doesn't do that every time. I used a special code to make sure that you could find your way back here. It's a shame how many people come in here once and then get lost in the abyss... if they had only stayed a bit longer they would have received a donation!

Have you read the first page of my charity? It tells you the requirements and rules. Most of them are pretty basic, you need to be new, you need to be nekkid and not have very much gold, and then you need to have 5 posts in this particular thread before PMing me the completed magic form. Make sure it is complete though, because sometimes people forget to put a very important quote on there ;)

Do that many people really miss the secret code?
