I don't know what to think of humanity and the world of humanity. It functions. The way it functions is beautiful because we've managed to hold on so long. The way it function is terrifying because it barely functions. It could fall apart at the slightest moment. The way it functions is grotesque because sacrifices so many morals to function. With this being said, I'm unsure how I can combine these into my opinion. /barely making sense

Shinsei Roma 08-29-2010 02:55 AM

WEll, I'm definitely new here... and as you said in the rules, here's one of my five posts!

*feels reeeeeaally awkward now* >x>;; <x<;; Wish I wasn't so lazy....

Darke 08-29-2010 03:14 AM

Hello and welcome. I have been instructed to 'be nice' so...how are you doing?

The_Crow 08-29-2010 03:32 AM

I just finished reading Mockingjay, the third book of The Hunger Games Trilogy and I am now all pensive about the greater state of humanity. I'm normally pretty egocentric, so it has me all weird. Well I'm normally weird, but just a different flavour.

Shinsei Roma: Greetings and welcome to Menewsha. You ended up in a great place to have a quick chat with people and also earn a donation of a starter garment and maybe something extra if you're lucky. How did you come across Menewsha and what do you think of it so far?

Scribbled- Your state doesn't sound too far off from my own.

Dystopia 08-29-2010 04:38 AM

@ Roma - Welcome. :)
If you aren't feeling so shy, perhaps you could help us welcome future newbies by giving us some feedback here?

@ Crow - Oh! I read the first to books of that series. I wanna read the last one. *3*

Shinsei Roma 08-29-2010 04:58 AM

@Darke: pretty good, considering I just signed up this afternoon.. ^ ^

Scribbled Lore 08-29-2010 02:31 PM

Hi there, Roma!

I haven't read/seen Speed Grapher. Actually I've never heard of it. Would you care to share details, Lizzy? Same goes for The Hunger Games Trilogy. Never heard of it.

Darke 08-29-2010 07:26 PM

Speed Grapher conjures up the image of a mathematics genius that doesn't play by the rules. No one can plot the lines quicker, but he'll be damned if he labels those axis correctly.

Shinsei Roma 08-29-2010 09:53 PM

I feel really welcome now... Thanks to all of you... ^ ^ Uhm, but out of curiosity, are there any [i]other[i/] Hetalia cosplayers wandering around Manewsha that you guys might know of?

Scribbled Lore 08-29-2010 10:21 PM

Sorry, all the Hetalia fans I know are on Dreamwidth, a journaling site. Which reminds me that I'm supposed to be reading Hetalia and I haven't started it.

:XD @ Darke.

Shinsei Roma 08-29-2010 10:22 PM

Ah, thank you... hehe, maybe if I'm lucky, I'll start a hetalia community, eh?

Scribbled Lore 08-29-2010 10:44 PM

That's not a bad idea! If you go over to Menewsha Nations you can start a hangout based on Hetalia. I'm sure you'll find other fans that way. :)

Dystopia 08-29-2010 11:39 PM

:x I listened to some of the Hetalia closings in the past. XDD THey were cute.

@ Scribbled Love- Go to this wiki link: Speed Grapher - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Summarizing it without using wiki, it is about a photographer that goes into a secret club and he gets kissed by this girl (my avatar). That is when he gains super powers to blow up people with his camera. :S So yeah...

Scribbled Lore 08-30-2010 12:31 AM

One of those things that sounds worse than it is, huh? But wiki makes it sound interesting. *adds it to her "to read" list*

The manga was only published up to volume two in the US. I own the anime though. :D

Also if I want to read the third volume, I better start learning German. :P

Dystopia 08-30-2010 02:31 AM

o.o That sounds slightly pornographic and slightly amazing.

If it isn't too sexually explicit, where could I find it? *3*

Shinsei Roma 08-30-2010 02:36 AM

@Scribbled Lore: Awesome, thanks!

Darke 08-30-2010 06:26 AM

I prefer my version of Speed Grapher. Maybe I will put it into production.

The_Crow 08-30-2010 07:31 AM

Everyone, thanks for chatting with Shinsei Roma. I just sent a starter shirt and gift his way. :)

Scribbled Lore 08-30-2010 12:21 PM

I know people who would read your version of it, Darke. :XD

Hey, that's what we're here for, Crow! I just hope Roma doesn't disappear on us completely. :) I'd like to talk to them some more.

The_Crow 09-01-2010 12:20 AM

It makes me sad when my charity gets close to the bottom of the page. We need to be up on the top so all of the lovely new persons will know where to find us!

I do like it when people stick around, too. There's no rule that says you have to leave once you've received your gift(s).

Scribbled Lore 09-01-2010 01:00 AM

Well, I certainly couldn't reply to myself! People get locked up for that sort of thing.

Dottie Mae Evans 09-01-2010 01:13 AM

@ Dystopia- It is really mature and rated M. It has some sexual content in the anime and if I remember right... The manga has way more violence and more content than the anime did. :S No worries for me though, I am 22. :D It isn't considered X-rated though. Which is a good thing.

The_Crow 09-01-2010 01:23 AM

Scribbled- I talk to myself all the time and I'm not locked up... yet.
