It's almost two o'clock! Two and a half hours till I get to go home for my two days off - which I haven't had a proper *day off* in about three months.

I think it is for the rest of the dragons on their scroll. If you provide a link to one creature, you can still access their scroll. Maybe the rule is there for that. -shrugs-
Or for the people who want to keep some dragons as hatchlings form.

I didn't realize dragon growing was so involved! *lol*
