I know it starts with a B but I can't remember the name of it for the life of me! It's not one of the more severe one's but it makes her feel everyone's emotions around herself. She like absorbes it all and it makes her feel those emotions to the point where she gets overwhelmed. Depending on the day she freaks out over the littlest things like if she hasn't been tanning that week. (She's an addict but clean now. Tanning is the way to calm her addiction to other things.) If she stays around a lot of people to long she usually has an anxiety attack from all the emotions. Some days she can handle it but some days she cant. It doest help that she also has PTSD. I try and be positive for her at all times but you know how sisters are. Always arguing over someting^_^ Clothes in our case lol.

Oh and no problem with how much you posted. Its a heavy subject! It's nice to talk to someone that understands.

I wouldn't say what I do is awesome. *blushes* I just muddle through. Our cat can often cheer up my husband better than I can. She's completely weird sometimes. lol. You just have to keep trying to stay positive and supportive. lol, the picking thing works sometimes too. I think maybe it reminds my husband that he's being unreasonable when he sees how silly it looks on me. Sometimes that's all you can do. I've never heard of that condition but panic attacks are no fun. Mental illness often leads to substance abuse. I think people will do anything to try and shut out the mess their brains are making of things. I've never done drugs but I've been told I'm the most naturally stoned person my husband has ever seen. lol. I've been told that by quite a few people actually. I think it's because I'm really easily entertained or something. lol. *shrugs*

Anyway, feel free to PM me if you want to continue chatting about this subject. The charity seems to have moved on but it is nice to talk to someone who can relate. So many people don't get it. Mental illness is looked down on by society, like people should just get over it because it doesn't have tangible symptoms. It doesn't work that way and I wish more people would realize that mental illness is just as serious a problem as diabetes or cancer.

No problem. I like having people to talk to. ^_^ Yes, naturally stoned. I apparently have the personality of a pot smoker. The very idea cracks me up. lol. I've never actually smoked pot so I can't say what I'd be like if I ever did...probably put me to sleep or something. *shrugs* I have really low blood pressure so I can seem kind of dazed and sleepy a lot of the time, that may be part of the reason. On the plus side I'll most likely never have to worry about having a stroke. I just pass out if I stand up too fast. lol.

Keeton is wonderfully crazy. We've had her since she was barely old enough for soft food and she's our baby. She sleeps on my chest at night, or curls up in my husband's armpit. We joke that she likes the good stink of it. She also like to shove her head into freshly removed shoes so that theory may not be too far off base. O_o'

I once had a friend's cat start nursing on my nose. x__X
I was staying at their house and woke up with a cat on my nose. XD
