Half of my students are getting comments on their papers about needing to overanalyze. Sometimes the subtext really *is* there.

And I miss taking English classes. xD
I've been doing nothing but math/science for two years now without time for any extra classes.

Well, I guess there was a history class or two.
And a psychology course.
But there wasn't any upper division English being offered and I needed upper division credits. :(

Estrella, isn't it a lot of work for you to track how many posts we all do?

And you don't have to be taking a class to enjoy the work of an English course... one thing you could possibly do is wander in on the first day, pick up a syllabus, and then read your way through the booklist. The big advantage of this is that you don't have to suffer through stifling class discussions or write a paper. :P

And I'm startin' to feel the extra shot of vodka... :heart: vodka. It rarely gives me a hangover. Wine does, most of the time, to the point of being really sick. I wonder if it's part of my various stomach thingies?

I'll be doing that a different way next time because it's so much work.

But for the Charity Birthday stuff it's not too bad. I just do a thread search for the usernames and count total posts.
And since after 28 posts I can stop counting for that person, it doesn't really take long at all. :lol:
