LOL, I'm with you Howdy...I am not a magpie, sparkley vampires with good Christian values...are kida....SNOOZE CITY....I've ready too many good Vampire books to actually like that series...(Ducks behind a desk in fear of rotten fruit/veggies that are sure to be thrown my way for that comment).

I like the Twilight series, but I also love any vampire book handed to me. xD Though, no so much with one I read awhile back. It was really hard to follow and the characters were just blah. I don't even remember the name. My favorite of all time was one that I can't remember the title to and can't find it anywhere in my book collection. Tayuki: I'm excited. ;D |

I have nothnig personal against Twilight. The thing is, I see no reason for it to be as popular as it is. Okay, it can be kinda cute and whatsoever but gosh, it gets so boring on the second half of Twilight and New Moon is just horrible. I will only read Eclipse now but I heard it was somewhat better. And seriously, her writing skills l;ack... very often. -_- Not to mention, Night Watch which is published looong before Twilight was even started to be written, has suspiciosuly similar side plot. >.> ... Anyways, I better stick to Brem Stoker's baad vampies than sparkling ones. *nods* |
I have a coworker who is in her 40's and is obsessed with Twilight. I just don't get it. The books are okay I guess...But there are sooo much better vampire books out there...With a lot better writing in them. I tried lending her the "Southern Vampire" books by Charlene Harris, and she "Couldn't get into them". Whatever....

I liked Twilight. xD A lot. But I'll read just about anything handed to me. That excludes text books for classes and Westerns or romantic novels. No me gusta. Hehehe.
And yes, we will see what the big surprise is today at noon PST because it's gotta' wait until nap time or else I won't be able to get anything done. Haha! |
