Why's that Estrella? :(

My head is hurting. Trying to do math homework..that and coordinate stuff between RL friends and family from everything to DnD night, school fundraisers, and getting together for MIL's bday. Then I have plenty of crap around here to do. I really wish I could do this guilt free without working as trying to coordinate housework, bills, and everything in-between is a job all in itself. :gonk:

Well, my mom was an alcoholic so a lot of times as a kid, I'd see her totally shit-faced and told myself that I'd never be that way. I just crossed my own line I set for myself and I feel guilty. o.<;

Anyway, that sucks Izumi. D:

Well I look at it this way right now - every day we can get by without a second income is a blessing for me...My husband keeps on reminding me how it's really not an option. :/

About you having a good time - I don't think you should feel so hard on yourself, as long as it's done in moderation and responsibly. If she was ALWAYS drunk, and doing so in a dangerous way yah I would feel the same way too. :( At the same time, you should enjoy your life too you know?

estrella, crossing that line once, or even more than that doesn't make you like her and it doesn't make you an alcoholic and it most definitely doesn't make you a bad mom... you are still young and you got the responsibility of being a parent young... so for you to go out and have some drinks and get stupid every now and again is never a bad thing... it's normal... i have only been chatting with you on mene for like the past couple months, and you don't seem like the kind of person, or mother, who would get drunk around your child... and be irresponsible where she is concerned... so don't be too hard on yourself... sorry for the ramble... i just feel very passionate about this subject as it was a decent part of my past as well... anyways.... Thanks guys. I know I really shouldn't feel guilty and no one is calling me a bad mom.
My baby sitters said she did fine with the other little girl. My cousin drove me and her home and then helped me get her in bed. Though, admittedly, she asked me to read her story and that was really hard to do. Which made me feel bad because I like to read her stories before bed.

I did drink too much though 'cause I threw up last night. It doesn't help that raspberry vodka tastes like Kool-Aid. But I am absolutely FAMISHED this morning.

I also told like my life story to a couple of people I wouldn't normally let into that little part of my world.
Though, I'm not sure how coherent I was 'cause I couldn't even finish a sentence.

I bet my friend (we went out for his 21st) is feeling worse 'cause he'd NEVER had a drink before and he had a lemondrop, white russian and then I think 1 and 1/2 of the raspberry vodka lemonades. xD

oh wow those really seem like a bad combination of drinks... especially for a person who never drank before... although all those drinks do sound wonderful... just not sloshing around in the same belly hahaha

and it's funny that made you throw up cause when i was on vacation two weeks ago there was bar where one night a week you pay 20 bucks, and from 9pm-2am it's all you can drink beer and well drinks ... now i love my rum, but the well rum was sooooo nasty i switched to vodka cranberries... in the matter of about 2-3 hours i drank about 7 or 8 of those damn things (i sure as shit was going to get my money's worth :yes:) and i had to stop at a convenience store on the walk home and make myself vomit... bad vodka!! :illgetu:

Bleh being sick is horrible and I did it once and it cured me of drinking too much. Needless to say, Hypnotic just doesn't sound that great anymore. It, too, did not have any alcoholic taste to it and my husband at the time TOLD me it isn't something you pour by the glassful but the shot full...but he didn't stop me. And needless to say after one I crawled my way to the bathroom and projectile vomited. He was nice enough to help me to bed and clean it up.

To this day I'll have maybe one or two drinks and stop at that. :o

i feel that way about tequila... although i used to be able to drink that stuff straight from the bottle, in any mixed drink... like i really loved that alcohol... then my 21st birthday i drank soooo much of it... every drink had tequila in it... my first drink in a bar was a shit of it... man... i never been so sick in my life *insert vomitty face*
now i can't smell it with out dry heaving... i used to not even be able to watch commercials without feeling nauseated hahaha but i am better about that now :P

Haha, yeah, I don't usually do hard alcohol. It took me like thirty minutes to finish my lemon-drop that I started with because I could taste the alcohol.

And I did brush my teeth already. Haha.

It's not a horrible combination, Linn, at least they all have vodka. xD

all vodka, yes... but mix the cream drink (white russian) with the citrus-ness of the lemonade drink and the lemon drop (which is a great shot by the way!!!) and that doesn't seem right to me hahaha

Yeah, the White Russian was yucky actually. xD
I'm not a fan of milk anyway.

Though raspberry vodka and lemonade is easily my favorite drink now.

Strelly shouldn't beat herself up over one night of over doing things. Just learn from it and have fun in a more moderated fashion next time.
