I'm great. I'm so excited for this weekend. Although it's going to be busy. I have a ton of homework to finish from the week.

I have english homework. I have to make a children's book to the Beowulf story. It's harder than it sounds becasue it is hard to think like a child after so many years of not being that young.

@baby: Same here. It was way too violent. Although, I'm pretty sure my son would love it. He laughs every time my fiance kills someone on Halo.

He's about nine and one half months. He's just starting to pull himself up on things. The doctor said he should be walking anytime now. I'm so excited.

I'm just going to say that two (for me anyway) hasn't really been that bad. She has her days though when she's VERY two and her days when she's just the most helpful child. xD

Your son is absolutely adorable! Love his head of hair! Everyone always says my daughter looks much older than she is because she's got such a full head of hair already.

My daughter started walking about nine months. I squeeled when she took her first steps. It's amazing. Haha.

Ugh, that sounds like a not-fun English assignment and I don't say that about English assignments. But I dunno', I'd never picture ME as a children's book author. Let alone taking something violent and turning it into a children's book. Good luck.

My weekend should be pretty chill. I have a two page essay to write but it's mostly my opinion and a couple of articles to read. But nothing major. Been doing as much as I can through the week so I can get some sleep this weekend.

So, what's everyone's plans for this weekend?

You want to hear about monsters: The real monsters are Middle Schoolers! Be afraid!

I took a substitute call for an Applied Technology teacher at a middle school. I'm normally strictly Elementary School but I decided to give it a try... The day itself didn't go 'bad', but there was so much confusion and awkwardness about whether or not I was a student, myself (from fellow teacher AND the kids), that I think I'll stick within my 'comfort age group' for a little while. I'm a bit scarred by the experience, I think.

Congratulations for getting wise! My dentist did x-rays of my mouth a number of years ago. It is common to miss one wisdom tooth. It is uncommon but still plausible to miss two. However, in my case, I'm missing THREE out of my four wisdom teeth! It finally decided to come in about three years ago and I was TEETHING again. I kept rubbing the area where it was breaking the skin and even got my best friend to massage it for me.

If you go to your local drugstore, try to find Orajel that comes in a small plastic case, and they look like Q-tips. When you break off one end it allows oxygen into the tube and saturates the Q-tip with numbing goodness! At first you can rub it and it feels nice to be rubbed, but then after you do it long enough the whole area where your tooth is coming in will be numb! Those Orajel things are life savers, I tell you!
