I wore regular sneakers to my graduation. And then I kinda just showed up as a fashion disaster under my gown, and I was just so rainbow-y. xD
Oh, and I decided to be awesome and different, and I made myself my own mini top hat to wear instead of their graduation caps, cause I thought they looked silly. Oh maaaan, the look on the principal's face when I walked up to get my diploma! x'D <3 Good tiiiimes~ |
Haha nice! I would have worn flip flips or sneakers, but they were against the dress code for graduation. We had to wear a white dress with white dress shoes. I felt like such a girl, -puke- XD Oooh rainbow-y! XD

It didn't matter what we wore under neath our blue robe things, as long as we were wearing something, haha. So I just put on everything~ x'D And these hot pink suspenders too. Oh and my shoes were painted with neon paint and glowed so hard when I got on stage cause of the lights. It was awesome.
I DID look like a fool! x'D <33 But I had fun, and it was worth it because I felt like I didn't look as much of a fool as everyone else because those graduation hats just look plain silly to me. I think I might have a picture lying around somewhere.. |

I got some angel looking wings that you would sew on a doll. Big...ish, iridescent - they worked out quiet well.

They weren't attached to anything - they were made to be sewn on stuff. I almost got into trouble for them, but I was careful AND! how much trouble could I have gotten into anyway? I was already graduating?!

I actually think my vice-principle, who was actually the strict one - thought they were kinda funny. Which of course I thought was amusing.

Thankfully, I only graduated with about 18 kids, so it wasn't too bad.

We had like 100+ people in our graduating class. x_x

I wanted to be different cause that's how I usually was in high school, or I was doing something silly. -shrug-
Plus it was the last day, and we had to go BACK to the school the next day to get our real diploma. =w= So they couldn't honestly say "sorry you're violating the dress code, get off the stage" And I think there were...probably 200+ people in our class. Took FOREVER to get to me, cause I'm with the "W" last names =A= |
Hm... I got my diploma the night of graduation. :) There was only 200 and something in my graduating class. The school is under enrolled anyways from what someone was telling me. Most high schools in my school district has a larger enrollment. :S
Anyways, I was just glad I graduated. :D! |

I had to give a speech at mine [salutatorian] and I wouldn't have done it if the class size was 100+. Haha
