Well, my ex was sleeping with someone a few months after we split.
I was pretty pissed because he was still telling me he loved me & wanted me back.
But after that I was pretty much "meh" about it all. I figured if his ex-girlfriend was calling to talk to me she must have been on the same level of fed-up as I was. I should have known better.

I'll get over it, though & I'm sure they will too.
I just didn't want anymore drama in my life, y'know?
At least for awhile.

I'm one of those wackadoo's that is friends with my ex's but generally we are in very long relationships and we just kinda grow apart. That has happened to me... four times. I think?

I hear you there...I was just starting to feel better about my brother being gone when I got a call from a processor and found out my husband had an outstanding $300 dental bill that his ex wife had signed for in his name and they finally decided to take action on it. I was FURIOUS. I called him out and had a few choice words. Then he was all 'don't shoot the messenger' to me and it's like you know what you picked your job.

Theeen the week after that the tire on the truck went flat and we ended up having to get the front tires replaced at $125 a tire. D:

Since then I think it's settled down...for now. I'm hoping. I'm going up to visit my parents for my birthday and I'm hoping to have a good, stress-free time while I'm up there.

Faux - I tried being friends with him, I really did. But he made it impossible. I'm trying to keep close to his family for my daughter's sake and I just don't want a bunch of people who do so much for me to be pissed off at me.

I hate when random bills like that pop up. When it rains, it pours. :( I'm sorry Izumi. It'll look up, though!

That's what I'm hoping/thinking. My husband's laid off for 3 weeks now, but I'm hoping after all his (yet again) lay offs are finished his company will pick back up again and we'll eventually get everything caught up and eventually get to move out to our own property. That's what I'm hoping for.

They laid me off at my job - them I got super sick and needed another stem-cell transplant... UG! Strelly you are so right. When it rains it POURS - ALL OVER!!!
