My paper is only supposed to be two pages, which I am almost incapable of accomplishing. lol. My last "two page" paper ended up being 6 pages long, not counting title page or references. O_o' I'm a bit...verbose, I guess.

I think I've reigned this one in to two and a half though. That's really good for me. Thankfully one of the questions was about my personal awareness in high school, which was....limited, to say the least. O_o'

Boo - Wanna write mine? ;D Nah, I've got it all outline now and just need to write it. It'll probably take me about an hour (if I stop checking Mene) and then I'll be able to edit it tomorrow. :yes: I've almost got a page already and only two paragraphs. xD

So yesterday I went to a friends house. I really don't have ANY friends around here anymore so I was excited about hanging out with her before she went back to college. Only thing was she got a new phone and the whole time I was there she was activating/customizing/transferring contacts. I went there to see her, to talk, to do something together, not watch her play with her fancy new toy, which she could have done later. I could have gone today instead but I didn't think it would be a problem. She also spent more time talking to her brother's girlfriend than myself. I really should have gone today because she would have had her phone already set up and the brother/girlfriend would have been gone but there was no way I could have known that. After dinner we ended up watching Tron which was good but the lack of backstory had me confused, and then Black Swan which I was apprehensive about watching. I stayed later than I wanted to to watch the second movie and in my mind it wasn't worth it. I didn't really like it and I think it stressed me out or something. Also, while I was there some guy hit my car on the street and I had to deal with all the BS of trading info and crap to get it taken care of (fortunately it's mostly scratches and still driveable).

So anyway, I get home and wanted to talk to my fiance but he was too busy gaming with a friend. He had annoyed me earlier because I called and he couldn't talk then earlier and then called back just as I was about to leave for my friend's house when of course I couldn't talk. When I finally got to bed I couldn't fall asleep AT ALL. And spent the whole rest of the night trying to sleep and not really doing so. There was a really bad thunderstorm around 4:00am that kinda scared me since the lightning strikes were getting close and lightning has struck a tree outside my house before. I tweeted about it and my fiance called me after seeing it. So I talked to him for a bit even though I should have been sleeping. When we got off the phone I kept having hot and cold flashes and couldn't sleep. I feel asleep right before my alarm and woke up actually feeling comfortable, when of course I couldn't sleep anymore.

I ended up leaving late for work but got there just on time after speeding the whole way there. Work wasn't too bad but I thought I worked to 12:30pm not noon so that was a bit of a surprise. One customer had me about at the end of my patience because she was too stupid to work the self scan and kept saying how it was the worst shopping trip ever and how the machine was such a piece of crap, etc. Normally for people like her who are incapable, I'd just do it for them because it's a lot less hassle but it was really busy so I couldn't just focus on her since there were other people to take care of as well. When I got out of work I went to get my glasses adjusted which took FOREVER. So I got to sit around blind for like... 20 minutes or so waiting for them to bring my glasses back to me. The ridiculous part was I was the only person there.

When I got home, my aunt, who was supposed to be babysitting my adopted two year old sister was sleeping on the couch and definitely not watching her. I got annoyed and asked her if her sugar was alright because she's diabetic and when it gets low she gets sleepy but supposedly it was just her back hurting and laying down with the heat of the blanket helped. Right... What an excuse. So I went upstairs to take a nap and laid semi-awake for two hours without really sleeping. I finally did fall asleep for an hour or so but woke up still feeling like crap. T_T And since I shirked some other things I should have done yesterday to go see my friend, I get to do them today. I feel like it was such a waste going to see her. I need social interaction with people who aren't customers or my family but my friend is apparently too good to actually talk to me while I'm there. It doesn't matter to her because she has friends to hang out with at college while I'm stuck here at home with no friends to go out and do anything with and no real way of meeting people living in the middle of nowhere.

Wow...that does sound frustrating. *hugs* If it helps at all, I understand that sort of loneliness. I live out in the country and I've never had much luck making friends even when I was regularly around people. It's part of why Mene is so important to me. You all are some of my only human interaction. ^_^'

Same here, I live in the country in a tiny town where everyone moves away as soon as they're able so there aren't many people my age around and really no way to meet them. There are a few people where I work but they don't seem interested in hanging out or anything. Mene is also my only source of human interaction most days. I don't even get to talk to my fiance every day. T_T

I really want to get another cat because at least I would have something to interact with. I feel like it would really help with the loneliness but my first cat died a few years ago and we haven't gotten another one since. I told myself I wasn't going to get one until I knew where I was going to be for a few years though so I'm torn. I don't want to get attached to it then end up moving somewhere that I can't keep it. T_T

Cats are very good for loneliness. As someone who has had real trouble finding places to rent because I refuse to get rid of my cat, I can see your thinking. However, I personally feel having a cat is well worth the trouble of finding a place that allows them. ^_^
