O_O what's the matter, zigbig? if you don't mind me asking

zigbigadorlube 05-14-2011 04:44 AM

Broseph: The pediatrist removed my two large toenails the other day and I have to soak my feet in salt water to make sure the wound doesn't get infected. Needless to say it's rather painful. >_<

Linnea 05-14-2011 04:55 AM

:gonk: sounds very painful! no wonder there is no mud playing for you!

zigbigadorlube 05-14-2011 05:08 AM

Nope, no mud fun for Zig. I need to work on getting my feet back into shoes for work on Sunday. >_<

Linnea 05-14-2011 05:10 AM

good luck, ziggles! (can i call you that? i just thought of it and i loooove love it)

and i need to do somethings before i sleep... i hope you have a good night, and rest those tootsies!

zigbigadorlube 05-14-2011 05:27 AM

LOL, that's definitely a new one! I don't mind it though.

Alright, I'll try. Have a good night!

Izumi 05-14-2011 06:14 AM

Ewwww...*shudders*

Why did they pull your toenails? That sounds really painful and...*shudder* kinda barbaric. O_o;;

Saravi Boo 05-14-2011 04:27 PM

Oh poor Zig. O_o' That sucks. My hubby had to have one of his toenails removed due to persistent ingrown toenail problems. He has another that probably needs to come off but we can't afford it. O_o'

Estrella 05-14-2011 04:51 PM

I like ziggles too!!

WOOO!!

*runs in and squishes everyone*

I'm gonna' update later today with the signature incentive.

zigbigadorlube 05-14-2011 10:46 PM

I've had the ingrown nail procedure done twice before. This was because my nails weren't growing right. By taking them off completely, they hope the nails will grow back properly. The needles were the worst part of the procedure, well, not including the aftermath that is. ^^;

Izumi 05-15-2011 03:11 AM

Ewwww I don't think I could go through with it. *twitches* It just sounds like too much. I'd just say to hell with it I'll leave them be. I'm sure they made it a saying because it isn't fun. >_<

zigbigadorlube 05-15-2011 03:24 AM

It is pretty gross but for some reason I'm not too bothered by it other than the pain. I think I just don't think about it too much or I probably would be. >.>

Izumi 05-15-2011 03:26 AM

Sorry ziggy for making you think about it then. Maybe a change of subject should be in order. :XP

One last thing though - I get it. I know some people are real squeamish about acupuncture and I have NO problem with getting that done. It's actually really therapeutic. I've never had anything against needles though.

zigbigadorlube 05-15-2011 03:30 AM

Nah, I'm not thinking about it too much except worrying about wearing shoes on Monday. I tried to get permission to wear sandals at work but they said "no" so I'm going to have to wear sneakers. I tried on a pair of slippers today just to see. It hurt getting them on but it wasn't so bad after that so I'm hoping I'll be okay.

I've never had acupuncture done or seen it done on anyone. I don't like needles but I think the ones they use for acupuncture are more fine? I don't think they'd bother me too much if they weren't around my face but I can't really tell for sure without having it done. I'm a lot more squeamish than I used to be for some reason but I'm usually fine as long as I just don't watch.

Izumi 05-15-2011 03:56 AM

I believe they're smaller needles. I haven't really looked at them closely. I've had them pretty much from head to toe for an all over acupuncture (and trust me it wasn't cheap) but it was a very relaxing experience. One time when I went though my right leg was a little twitchy and I had one there...that didn't feel too good. Other than that it's nice.

zigbigadorlube 05-15-2011 03:59 AM

I honestly don't know anyone around here that's ever had it done. I'm not even sure there's an office you could get it done nearby. You'd probably have to drive an hour to the city to find a place. I can't say I'd ever have it done unless suggested to me by a doctor but it is a very interesting concept.

Estrella 05-15-2011 08:21 PM

I keep saying this but I promise I will update with the signature incentive today.
And change the page prizes.

zigbigadorlube 05-15-2011 08:27 PM

Broseph: Aw, it's okay Estrella. *Huggles* We're patient people!

Linnea 05-15-2011 09:15 PM

gooooooosh estrellla :gonk: so sloooooooow... hehehe jk

Broseph 05-16-2011 01:10 AM

Okay, guys, Estrella was trying to figure out what sort of prizes you might like for the signature contest. The options are EIs - she has a ton of random spare ones and some extra sets she'd be willing to break up OR gold. She's a bit skeptical about giving gold because she's only just begun to rebuild the charity funds.

zigbigadorlube 05-16-2011 01:13 AM

Zig is okay with either. *Shrugs* Gold is always nice but if you don't think it's a good idea then maybe you should stick with the EIs.

zigbigadorlube 05-16-2011 06:39 PM

Broseph: @Estrella: Oh, I was wondering if you could add my quest thread to the list. Here's the link:

zigbigadorlube 05-17-2011 11:25 PM

Broseph: It's been really quiet here lately. O. o

Estrella 05-18-2011 02:23 AM

Yes, zig, I can link your quest.

Sorry it's been awhile since I posted.
Where's everyone been?

zigbigadorlube 05-18-2011 04:56 AM

Broseph: Thank you! ^_^
