when i worked in the deli it was also a bakery too and i don't remember doing much computer trainings... but that was years ago :lol: when i was a short order cook at a pizza type of place i had to get the cashier training... which was stupid cause they hired me to be a cook... i never did anything but that

Linn - It's more like an orientation. I had to watch a bunnnccch of cheesy videos today about how Safeway is awesome and spectacular and how the employees are expected to behave etc. Then I had to do my food handler's test there.

I think tomorrow I'll be doing the register training which looks as though they start you out with a computer program before moving you to a real thing. Which is silly since sitting in a little office where you can take the time to think is way different than when you have three or four people making orders at the deli counter.

Actually it'll be more of pixelling unless I fail at it, then I'll just be drawing.

And, also, I tried to eat something before I head to work.
I nearly threw up. I just can't eat this early in the morning.

Broseph: I can't eat early in the morning either. Don't know why but it just makes my stomach turn.

I gagged and had to spit out the last bit. :sweat: It was just awful.

What did you try to eat?

If I keep it really light I can usually eat a little within about a half hour after waking up. Toast or a little cereal at most but at least I don't end up starving after a few hours that way.
