I have been known to borrow items for cosplay contests. I have also lent items for the same. ^_^ Only on Mene though. I don't trust people so much on Gaia.

I never really trusted anyone on Gaia. Especially with my items. I lent someone an item who I thought was a friend, I never got it back and I never of said "friend" after that.

I use to feel weird about being on online dating sites because it's hammered into you that all people online are sexual predators. But honestly? Someone you meet at a bar or even just randomly in a shop somewhere could be as fucked up as someone you meet online.

That's true as well but it's much easier to lie about yourself online than it is in person. You can at least tell the age and sex of the person and get a bit of a feel for them. *Shrugs*

See, the problem I have with online dating, is like a lot of dating, it just feels kinda geared the wrong way. You're going on these sites LOOKING for love! Whereas, even if you meet someone random, you should first learn about them, start a friendship, and then see if you want to start a more romantic relationship. I don't have an issue with dating online period, just online dating sites for that reason...

I've never really tried any dating sites but I doubt I ever would. I more agree with your way of doing things. I met my fiance at college in the anime/gaming club and we clicked immediately so I was fortunate to have it relatively easy. His sister on the other hand is thirty years old and still hasn't found anyone.

Yeah, my mom divorced and decided to give up on guys. She tried a bit of dating but in the end decided that she was okay with being single for the rest of her life. It's kind of sad but also understandable after what my dad put her through.

Yeah, my only problem is that I think she's letting herself go too much. She's gained a lot of weight and stuff. I mean it's not entirely her fault because she's under a lot of stress and she has problems with her back so she can't exercise much but sitting in front of the computer playing Farmville all day and munching on snacks isn't the way to go either. Yeah, but I don't know if they're actually hiring. I applied for the Rite Aid in town which I'm hoping will hire me since it's only a five minute walk from here and a grocery store that's a bit further away but seems to have a good union.
