Boo is okay. Sort of nervous about going home tomorrow. Haven't seen whether the hurricane did any damage or not yet. It tore up stuff at my parents' house. Major flooding in the basement. Thank goodness the house is on stilts. Also, a tree knocked a whole in the roof and the cat had an accident in the floor. Poor thing must have been so scared. He's never pooped anywhere like that before. I'm so glad we brought our cat with us. I hope the outdoor cat had sense enough to get under the house and stay put. She usually does in a storm. We'd have brought her with us too but she wigs out if we try to pick her up.

Yeah me too. It wasn't nearly as bad here. We were well south of the center of the storm and our house is even farther south so I'm hoping it's okay. My parents' house was right in the path of the eye wall. They got the worst of the storm.

How was D&D today?

It was okay. I really wish we had more people in our group though. More players help drive the story and keep the conversation and action from getting stale.

I'd join if I lived near by. x3
I've never played but I'd try it out.

^_^ It can be really fun but our group is only three people and we've been playing together for years now. We need new imagination and different play styles. ^_^' Ah well. I'd teach you how to play if you lived closer. It isn't hard but it can be a bit confusing when you first start. Maybe once we have jobs and gas and electricity and all those other necessities, we might try to find some more people to play with us.

I'm at the library again. ^_^ Came home today. The storm did very little damage to the trees and none to the house. Yay!!

The only half decent prospect I've got right now is a friend's step sibling who is looking for a nanny for her 4 month old. She said she'd get in touch to arrange an interview on Monday or Tuesday.
