Broseph: Evening all.

Vanora 09-03-2011 10:08 PM

Hey there Zig. ^^

zigbigadorlube 09-03-2011 10:11 PM

Hey Roz, how are you?

Vanora 09-03-2011 10:23 PM

I'm good.
Just watching a gaming tournament.

How are you?

Oh man, that would put me on the edge. Lol. He knows I tend to overreact for a lot things. Especially when it comes to new friends of his that happen to be girls. I think I'm too hard on him sometimes though. Just sometimes.

Well I suppose that would be good. Hahhaha. I hate being cold. Makes me want to pee a lot.

I preordered his album. So excited about that. xD I really like him.

Yeah, it was a strange dream. And it did a little bit. And I totally give my boyfriend a hard time a lot of the times. xD I am a little paranoid about it because I was cheated on by my ex-husband so...

I am still cold. My socks got wet though.

I won't be on much the rest of the day today, guys. I work from 5-11pm and then tomorrow morning I work 11-7. I'll probably have to find time in the morning to go see my daughter since she's staying with her dad this evening.

*skips off to get ready for work*

Vanora 09-03-2011 10:43 PM

Oh that's cool. o:

Hahaha. I think anyone would in that situation. xD So was I, except I wasn't married to him, thank god. I have to say it was the worst relationship because it meant nothing to him. Didn't even consider me a girlfriend after I confronted him. -.-. Blah. Whatever, I have someone better so that's all I care about. <3

Ewww wet socks!

Aww okie. Talk to you later then. :3

zigbigadorlube 09-03-2011 11:21 PM

I'm okay, just got done with dinner. I should probably start working on updating my resume but it's not the most exciting thing to do. >.<

Vanora 09-03-2011 11:22 PM

Dinner. Mmm
What's for dinner btw? o:

Ah resumes. I'm not too good at those. Lol.

zigbigadorlube 09-03-2011 11:23 PM

I made cube steaks and corn on the cob.

I already have a few different versions of mine made up but I need to just tweak a few things for an internship I want to apply to. That'll still probably take me at least an hour though, not to mention writing the cover letter to go with it. V_V

Vanora 09-03-2011 11:34 PM

Sounds good. I wonder what mom is making for dinner. I tried to go in and help and she nearly bit my head off. ;.;

Resumes take up a lot of time. I think that's why I don't do so well on them. lol

zigbigadorlube 09-03-2011 11:38 PM

Aw, how come?

Making the first one is definitely the hardest I think. I've come a long way since I started making them. I can definitely see the improvement from the first ones that I've made but it is true that they're very time consuming.

Vanora 09-03-2011 11:42 PM

She says I get in the way.

I remember when I tried making one in high school for an assignment. We were all lost and confused. I think after some practice I could get better. Maybe.

zigbigadorlube 09-03-2011 11:45 PM

I think a lot of moms are like that but she should be happy that you're trying to help.

Yeah, I had no idea what I was doing when I did one for high school either. College didn't really show me how to make them either but I read through some papers my school had and looked up a lot of things online.

Vanora 09-04-2011 12:08 AM

Yeah. She knows I try. >w> I can sort of cook... okay not really. lol. Which is a problem because my boyfriend likes home cooked meals.
I think I'll learn by trial and error.

Same. I think when it comes down to it, I'll probably look online for tips and help.

zigbigadorlube 09-04-2011 12:19 AM

I don't really like making complicated dinners but I can if I try. I think it's old fashioned the vision that it should only be the wife slaving away in the kitchen. I say if the man wants to eat it he should give a hand once in a while. Making home cooked meals can really be a lot of work!

The best thing to do is check out a college career services office if you're attending college but if that isn't a resource available to you, you can also look online since most schools have web pages for that sort of thing that you can look at as well, even if you're not currently enrolled in that school. I could even direct you to the PDF that my school published, anyone can view it online, not just current students or alumni.

Alright, I think I'm going to get off and go take a walk, I'll probably be back later though to work on that resume; I've already procrastinated it a few days now, I really need to get going on it. V_V

Vanora 09-04-2011 12:25 AM

I told him, I'm not one for slaving away in the kitchen, but I would try. I told him we should take cooking lessons together.
He said maybe. Lol. Besides, I wouldn't mind cooking for him. His tastes are pretty simple.

Oh yeah, the college I attended has that on their web page too. They have links to other sites as well for other things too.

Have fun on your walk. ^^

zigbigadorlube 09-04-2011 04:16 AM

That sounds like a fun idea, taking cooking classes together. *Nods*

Yeah, I honestly think that's the best resource of all because you always have it there to consult even after hours when the career office is closed.

It was an okay walk. I got back like three hours ago but then did some other stuff and now it's time for bed. I'm definitely going to be working on that resume tomorrow though!

Vanora 09-04-2011 04:41 AM

Yeah, I think it will be a huge help for the both of us if we both know how to cook. That way we can take turns.

I think so. Can't always rely on others for help, hahaha. Besides I don't really like asking for help. >.< I tend to want to figure it out myself first. x.x

Ah I see.
Well good luck on your resume. Hope you can get it done tomorrow. :3

zigbigadorlube 09-04-2011 09:39 PM

Broseph: I can't believe there hasn't been anyone around here today.

Vanora 09-04-2011 10:29 PM

Nope. :/ I don't think there has been that much activity today.

Broseph:

zigbigadorlube 09-04-2011 11:55 PM

Just checking in for a second. I'm gonna bake a cake with my fiance momentarily and I've got to start working on that resume after that. I don't think I'm going to allow myself to get on Mene while I'm working on it so I can concentrate better then I'll reward myself when I'm done with some video games I think. ^_^

Vanora 09-05-2011 12:04 AM

Hahah alright. Sounds like a good plan. :3

zigbigadorlube 09-05-2011 01:53 AM

I think I'm done with the resume. It didn't really take that long. I still have to do the cover letter though which will probably take even longer since I take forever to decide the wording for those things. People just came to sit at the table I was working on though so I'm probably going to have to move somewhere else or I won't be able to concentrate. V_V

Vanora 09-05-2011 02:41 AM

Oh I see. :/
It sucks not being able to concentrate... Especially when you need to get something important done.

*crawls into the thread* I hurt all over. >_<' We've been helping my parents cleanup from the hurricane. The damage around here is mind boggling. My parents actually got off fairly easy because their house is raised. Some people in their neighborhood have lost everything. Its so awful. O_o' Even thought the damage was confined to the shed and the downstairs basement (above ground but under the house), my parents still lost several thousand dollars of my dad's power tools among other things. It's enough to make a person cry walking around here. so much destruction.

I'm so tired. *hugs* Just thought I'd pop on and let you all know where I've been the last couple of days. Now I'm going to bed. ^_^' Night.
