Avatar's a good movie. I was very impressed when I saw it in theaters.

I wouldn't mind seeing Avatar myself, it does look good. I was actually up at the Cinema last night but I watched The Book Of Eli. That's a really good film. Also I saw Daybreakers not so long ago too, that is brilliant. They have some crackers of films coming out just now.

I hope something good comes to theaters. I want to go see a movie with my boyfriend, but he doesn't want use our giftcard until "a really really good one comes out." I don't mind waiting, but that thing is burning a hole in my wallet. He doesn't even want to go see Book of Eli, and I thought it looked fairly interesting.
I do have to ask though, is it religious at all? Or is it an action movie? |
@ Miiyako: There is a large religious spin on the movie but it is mostly action. It is sort of a bit of both really. I normally hate films with the religios spin on them but I really enjoyed The Book Of Eli. Though I am a big Denzel fan, he is brilliant in those sort of films.
I really want to see The Crazies. That looks quite good, there is also one calle Legion that looks good too. There are a lot of good films still to come so I don't blame you two for waiting. I also want to see Sherlock Holmes but my girlfriend doesn't fancy that one, she strongly dislikes Jude Law. |
I would love to see The Legion. I think that movie looks really good. But we'll have to wait and see if there's anything else that catches our attention. At the very least, we can always rent the movies once they come to video. As far as Sherlock Holmes goes, it never really caught my eye either. I was never really into mysteries.

Does the gift card expire?! ~ I say go watch something you normally wouldn't watch. That way it's not like you paid for it! If it sucks, *eh* no harm no foul. If it's good - Even better! If you get sick tomorrow ~ what if you miss a great movie in theaters! Go have FUN!

I don't think the gift card expires. We only just got it Christmas day. I've been trying to talk him into going to see a movie, but hey, Valentine's day is coming up. Maybe I can convince him we need to see a movie that night. He already wants to take me out to a fancy dinner. xD |

I just ate mac and cheese. I love the stuff. Although, a couple weeks ago, my roommate and I made 8 cheese mac and cheese. It was 2000 calories per serving, and it made you really sick, but oh man, the stuff was good. I freaking loved it. |

I need to apologize again. My term started and suddenly is was like WHAM!!! crazy. freaking. busy. I barely have time to get all my homework done let alone come on an take care of my charity but I've got my own computer back (yay! my friend fixed it for me), and I will make an effort to get on for at least ten minutes a night/day to say hello and see everyone.
I think I can manage that. I seriously hit the ground running this term. Can you believe I'm already in week 5 of classes? Sheesh. Where did the time go? *dies* Anyway, I'm here long enough to update but I will be leaving by 11:30, I have a class at 12:45 and will be at school 'til around six and maybe I will get on tonight while I write some journals for biology. :) THANKS FOR STICKING AROUND. It's insane! and I'm at a friggin' community college! Haha. But I have 21 credit workload so it's too be expected that I'm busy right!?
And then the fact that my birthday's this month, I'll probably be busy with celebrations (21st, tehehe.) I'm not a drinker, but I know some of my friends and I have plans. Only 15 days until my birthday. Crazy. And I still haven't found a tiara to wear! Crap! My daughter and I are enjoying some wonderful *gag* barbie movies this morning. How're you? :) |
I'm doing well. I'm in a working adult program. Night class once a week, but the classes are only 5-8 weeks long so I have to do a lot of work outside of class. I took 19 hours one semester when I was in college the first time. It nearly killed me. Good luck to you! Be careful not to burn yourself out the way I did. It took me five years to get back into school and I'm still going to have to make up for all the classes I flunked my last year of university.
Happy Birthday! Or almost birthday at least. I just had mine at the end of December (turned 26). O_o' Barbie movies....I feel your pain. I'm a nanny and we are currently watching nick jr. Yo Gabba Gabba is on which is one of the more tolerable shows but Dora is lurking in the shadows to make me throw things at the television. |
Yeah, I have three more years of school left but next year shouldn't be nearly as busy. The last two years however, is going to be towards my doctor's of pharmacy. Yikes. That is going to be a blasty-blast. Not. I just hope I actually get into one of the programs. We'll see how it goes when that time comes. I hope that after next year I have the desire to continue onto pharmacy. I don't really get a lot of confidence from some people because they don' want me to move away. xP But I think I should get in. I've held As/Bs throughout so...

I'm going for my Bachelor's in early childhood education. Then it is on to a teacher licensing program. I'm hoping to be a kindergarten teacher eventually.
Gabba Gabba isn't too bad. How old is your daughter? The baby my husband and I keep is almost two. He only watches Dora and other stupid shows when his mom is home. We only let him watch the shows we can stand. I am not a fan of Spongebob but the little munchkin likes it and it is better than Dora. |
