Strelly is gonna be Velma for Halloween? ^_^ Cool. I have no costume this year so far. I may drag out something from my wardrobe but we haven't had the money to put anything special together. *shrugs*

I just finished moving my computer into it's new home in our roommate's old room. It has a built in desk that Dad had made when this was his room so it is much more comfortable than my previous arrangement. I just wish I could afford a desk chair. I'm using our ancient ergonomic chair which has no back or arms and makes my shoulders hurt after a while. Which isn't any worse than sitting on my bed really, that's what I was doing before. ^_^' Anywho, hopefully having my own computer space will help keep me on task and I'll be able to do some article work and such to bring in a bit of money. Still doing crafts too but it's slow going. O_o' I have a few things I need to put up on Etsy.

Okay, gonna work now for a bit (hopefully). ^_^ Talk to everyone later (also hopefully). ^_^'

Broseph: I just found out that we could dress up for work this Saturday. I don't really have much to make a costume here but I do have a Hello Kitty headband so I'm thinking I might use that and maybe paint my face a bit to look like her. ^^;

Strelly has been busy the past few days. Sorry guys.

Sorry for flaking yesterday. I got busy trying to make the new interface on one of the job sites work. >_<' Then I watched some TV with my hubby before passing out.

I am hoping the people got back to me about the interface, I never could get it to work properly. It's so freaking cold in this house. I'm wearing gloves and a jacket in my room. lol. And I made myself some yummy hot chocolate. ^_^

I am now very aggravated. I called the electric company to try and put money on my powerstat account (pay as you go electricity) so the lights don't get cut off again. I have twenty dollars in the bank (all the money I have right now) and the lady tells me phone transactions have to be at least forty dollars. :illgetu: Funny, just yesterday I made a phone transaction for only ten dollars. So now I have to use the machine at the convenience store to charge up my account, but the machine only takes cash and my money is in the bank so I have to make a special trip to the nearest ATM which is fifteen minutes away in a grocery store to pull out the money I just put in yesterday so I could pay the damn electric company over the phone!! >_<

Pisses me off a little.

No luck indeed. *shakes head* I'm so tired of rejection. It makes me depressed which makes it very hard to motivate myself to keep trying.

I have shinies to put on Etsy but I was hoping to sell that first bag quickly and it has somewhat discouraged me that it hasn't sold yet. Guess yellow isn't for everyone, ne? I have a red lunch tote with cherries on it now and a few hairclips (not counting the stuff I made for Zig). I just need to get it all posted. I also found a watch yesterday that Dad bought but never took out of the package. I'm wondering if we could maybe get a few bucks for it on Ebay. It apparently cost fifty dollars new (according to the package) but it has a minor scratch on the face. *shrugs* I might check EBay or amazon and see how much it costs to list items.

Yay! I called the power company back and got a different lady who allowed me to pay over the phone just this once after I explained the situation. ^_^ I'll know to keep it in cash if it's less than forty dollars next time. >_<'

Well I looked up "Kawaii Hair Clips" or something similar once and found this picture which is what inspired me:

So basically they would be kawaii hair clips made out of felt, simple yet cute designs with hand stitched outlines. I want to make mine a bit smaller and the stitches would be different because I'm doing it by hand. I have a lot of designs in mind already, I just need to get the felt and clips to make them.
