Dusty pink I suppose would be the best I can describe it. Maybe just a hint of lavender to it.

Broseph: Spent all day so far doing crap for everyone else. I'm staring to wonder if I'll have any time to do anything I actually wanted to do. Worked even called and asked me to come in. Fortunately I had the sense to decline. Usually I find it very hard to say no.

Well I could use the money and usually I'm not doing anything so I feel bad refusing. Still, they expect us to call in two hours before our shift and they tried to call me in with less than an hour's notice so I didn't feel so bad. That and I have a really long shift tomorrow anyway.

I said yes the first few times. I said "no" when they tried to call me in after I had just worked 6 days in a row.

Broseph: Yeah, yesterday was my first day off in a while too. I feel weird because I almost always went in when called at my last workplace and I feel like I haven't done it as much here. Maybe I'd be more willing through if they gave more than like a half hour's notice though. V_V

I used to be the person that could always be called in, back when I had a job. O_o' I got called in a few times with no notice at all because someone just didn't show up. I generally always said yes unless I had something else going on that couldn't be rescheduled. *shrugs* Of course I liked my job at the time so that made a bit of a difference.
Hubby and I have been invited over to my father-in-law's fiancee's son's house for dinner tonight. (say that five times fast, lol) The fiancee is visiting from Louisiana and wanted to catch up with us while she's here. I just hope it isn't a mistake. Hubby still gets upset sometimes when Dad gets brought up. It's been one year this month since Dad passed away. We haven't really talked about it but I doubt it is helping hubby's depression any. *shrugs* I'm hoping getting him out of the house will be good for him though. Wish me luck. ^_^' On an even more fun note, I'm not sure how we are going to keep the power on here for much longer. We are down to nine dollars in the bank and that will only last a couple days if I put it towards power. I'm not sure what to do. I'm hoping our ex-roomie can help. It's looking like we'll be eating at home for our anniversary after all. *shrugs* I can't justify eating out if it means we lose the electricity. That wouldn't make any sense. O_o' I've got a chicken in the freezer that I can cook and we'll have to make do with a nice dinner at home. At least we'll be together. Broseph: |

Hey, yeah it has been a while. I've been doing ok. Working and looking for a second job since I could use the money.
@ Boo - I wish I knew a why to help you. The only advice I have is pray. I know it helped us out the other year when my dad had his stroke and we were living off of $170 a week. To get a better picture here is a basic rundown of how things were at the time. My dad was back and forth between the hospital and rehab 2 hours away from home. So my mom stayed there a lot of the time. I was at home with our two cats, two dogs and four puppies. So a good number of mouths to feed on top of trying to pay bills and buy gas for the vehicle. |

Basically whatever I can get. I've applied at some stores and at the local battlefield. Right now I'm considering maybe some trying at some of the local distribution centers since they pay well.
