thanks for the encouragement... i'm going to need it lol

Broseph:

Waaagh, I feel like crap. I got mildly motion sick on the bullet train and then had an ocular migraine thing hit me, and despite a nourishing meal that I bought back in Hiroshima and didn't eat until I got home here, I still feel gently nauseated and headachy.

How's everyone else the day after Thanksgiving? I haven't had any turkey since I left the US in September. :(

zigbigadorlube 11-26-2011 04:36 PM

Broseph: I hope you are feeling better today Scholar. My Thanksgiving was okay. It was my first holiday spent with my future inlaws.

Estrella 11-26-2011 06:01 PM

I didn't know Roachi had reopened her thread! Dangit! *runs off to check it out*

I am so tired. Micaela threw up blood this morning so I ran her to the hospital.
She had had a bloody nose and it dripped down into her stomach and made her vomit.

Freaked me out though.

zigbigadorlube 11-26-2011 06:50 PM

That is really scary. I know tuberculosis can make you throw up blood so I'm very thankful for you that it wasn't that.

Estrella 11-26-2011 07:25 PM

Yeah, it wasn't a very good thing to wake up too. x___X;
My poor baby. She was really upset that I wanted to take her to the hospital, too.

"But I'm sleepy!"
"It's not REAL blood."
"I don't want a shot!"

I kept telling her we just had to be sure.

She's doing much, much better now.

Saravi Boo: I got the hairclips today. They're really adorable. <3

I'll take a picture when I use them.

zigbigadorlube 11-26-2011 10:15 PM

Aw, how old is she?

scholar 11-27-2011 12:08 AM

Broseph:

@Estrella : Eek, sounds terrifying! I'm glad your baby is pulling through, though. I've been pretty sick before and never coughed up blood before. It must have been a quite a shock.

@zigbigadorlube : Yes, getting a good nights' sleep in an insulated room that did not instantly take on the outside temperature as soon as I turned the heater off seemed to help. I'm pushing the fluids and taking it easy today, too.

Estrella 11-27-2011 12:48 AM

She's 4 zig. :)

Saravi Boo 11-27-2011 04:14 AM

Yay! ^_^ I'm glad you like them. ^_^

Broseph: *licks the thread* :P

----------

Oh wow...poor baby! O_o I've had that happen to me before and it would have been scary if I hadn't been a really nosebleed prone kid and my momma figured out what had happened pretty quickly. ^_^'

Estrella 11-27-2011 04:19 AM

Yeah, it freaked me out. I suspected that's what had had happened but since the night before she was complaining of pain in her side/rib area and she's been so sick I figured I'd better take her in.

Car'a'Carn 11-27-2011 09:13 AM

Estrella - :o :o :o COUGHED UP BLOOD?! Holy Cow I would have Freaked out too >.< Glad she's feeling better!

*pokes Zig and Boo and Scholar* :poke: ...*then Kicks Estrella's shins on the way out *

zigbigadorlube 11-27-2011 05:14 PM

Broseph: @ Car: Long time no see!

Estrella 11-27-2011 06:10 PM

Carn - No, she vomited blood.
If she'd been coughing up blood it would have been a way different scenario, I think. D:

Car'a'Carn 11-27-2011 07:59 PM

Zig - It has been quite a few days hasn't it? Thanksgiving though to now has gone by really frickin quick

Estrella - Oh gotcha! Well cough or vomit, that woulda been scary >.O;

Now then, I believe you have something of mine... *glares at Estrella*

Estrella 11-28-2011 02:52 AM

Well, you believe wrong. ;)

Woodlandnymph 11-28-2011 04:44 AM

Awwww, your baby vommed blood? Eeek, I certainly hope she is feeling better Strelly <3

zigbigadorlube 11-28-2011 04:45 AM

I worked on some of those hair clips I was going to do today. I've got three done but I still have ideas for more. I made a shop on Etsy but I was disappointed to realize that you have to pay to list your items. I'm not sure I'll use it now...

@ Car: Yeah, and now I have to deal with Christmas music every day at work for a month. I'll be lucky if I made it out with half of my sanity in tact.

zigbigadorlube 11-28-2011 02:58 PM

Broseph: I do don't want to go to work just to listen to Christmas music my entire shift. Come on people, it's not even December yet...

star2000shadow 11-28-2011 03:53 PM

'POKES HEAD IN' hello 'waves'

Car'a'Carn 11-29-2011 05:36 AM

Estrella - I believe my fist's about to hit your face if you don't give me my bears back!! :illgetu:

Zig - I like Christmas music but... I can imagine that would be a little annoying to hear it every day you work >.<;

*pokes Star's poking head* ... that sounded funnier before I said it out loud... :stare:

Broseph:

Car'a'Carn -- ouch! That hurt! I bruise easily.

I'm hearing Christmas music *everywhere* in public these days. English-language, too. People look at me a little funny when I start mumbling along with "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" or "White Christmas" in a store.

star2000shadow 11-29-2011 03:28 PM

why would they look at you funny I mean.. i do that. i hum or sing a few of the lyrics.. its a naturel thing to do when you know the tune...

zigbigadorlube 11-29-2011 04:32 PM

Broseph: @ Star: Scholar is in Japan so they probably have different names for those characters there.
