Japanese is actually really easy to pronounce once you learn the vowels. Each one has only one pronunciation. It isn't complicated like English.

Yeah, I think I'd be okay at it if I had just a quick crash coarse on the pronunciation.

I can do that for you...

a= ah
e= eh
i= ee
o= oh
u= oo

wo= is sometimes oh depending on which kana is used to write it
r= try and say an r and flip your tongue like you are saying an l at the same time

R is by far the hardest letter to get right.
