you should maybe see about people in northern areas... i had a roommate who is from northern maine and they all speak it up there and are brought up bi-lingual :) i wish i was from northern maine just for that purpose :lol: but then i'd probably have grown up a lot more sheltered than i was since there isn't much going on up there at all... might as well move to canada!
but yea, i was doing pretty good and doing japanese every night there for about about two weeks but then life stuffs got kinda crazy and i haven't done it in about three weeks at least :sweat:

Yeah, that's exactly the problem. I found someone once who would talk on AIM with me but I haven't found anyone to do voice chats with. Then again I haven't been actively looking. >.>

Ah gotcha. Hmm... Oh! Maybe your old French teacher might know of a good way to connect with someone!

I doubt it unless they recommend me to current students (which would be kind of silly since they could just converse among themselves). Who knows though, maybe they would.

Ugh. Went to the dentist today for the first time in about two years and it looks like I have to set up another three visits before they're through with me. I've got four cavities that will be taken care of Tuesday, another one that will be filled during a separate visit, and then I have to go in one more time for another cleaning because they couldn't take care of everything today. And I swear that's not from lack of brushing/flossing either!

Some people are just cavity prone, zig. I have had like 6 fillings and two root canals. It could be from lack of dental. Are early on, though.

I've been fortunate enough to be able to avoid the root canals but I've been through pretty much everything else. Braces, retainers, extractions, fillings, and even oral stitches! The last filling I had done gave me a lot of trouble and the ones they will be doing on tuesday are going to be my first time getting a filling on the side of my teeth so I'm pretty nervous.

Ziggie~~make sure you don't drink soda without at least drinking water afterwards.
soda and candies are killers on teeth,
especially for cavity prone people.

I've been trying to rinse my mouth out after I eat lunch at work after I read something about that but I tend to forget to do it at home. Thanks for the tip hummy!
