And yeah, I'm super busy now that I got a full time job in NYC. I work 8 hours a day with a 4 hour commute. By the time I get home it's time to make dinner and then go to bed.

I was talking to Roz, but I don't mind you answering Ziggy...

And wow, that's a long commute! Do you drive it all?

Yeah, I'm subscribed, but it gets lost under all of my other subscriptions. >.<
Plus I get distracted with other thread. ;.;

Unless that conflicts with your hubby's job? I don't remember if he works or not.

No, I walk 10 minutes to the train station, ride the train for an hour and a half usually with one transfer, then walk a half hour to my office building and repeat the process backwards when I go home.

We'll be moving into the city this summer. We haven't had the funds before now but I think we'll be able to afford it in a couple of months.

That must get pricey, unless they have those... um card things with currency that you use for the train.

I'm not a huge fan of NYC to be honest. I prefer Paris. ^_^

That's like cheap house rent... well old cheap house rent.
Nowadays 'cheap' is around 1000$ here in Houston.

@ Roz: Yeah, it's a huge chunk of change. It's more than I paid a month for rent AND utilities when I was in college. V_V

@ Dessert: I was studying abroad. I had to return to the US to complete my degree. >.<

Everything is so expensive now. :/
And some jobs don't even pay enough to keep up.

where i go to college an apartment and utilities cost 400 dollars >.>'

@ Dessert: I got a cheap apartment off campus with a roommate. The rent was $500 a month and we split it.

@ Roz: Thankfully this one pays enough but there was another job I looked at applying to and didn't because I realized I wouldn't even make any money off of it after the commute. V_V

I'm sure you're just glad to have a nice job in something you wanted or close to it.

Well it's not necessarily 100% what I wanted but I'm happy just to have a job in this economy and it is a pretty good job in general. I get to babble away in French all day and work with Photoshop which is fun. I have a lot of other work to do on top of that that isn't quite so nice too though. ^^;

Yeah, most people are just glad to have a job in today's economy.
But it's like that in just about any job. You like some of the work and the other half not so much. Lol.

Yeah, I think it's like that with most jobs.

It's so hard to type now that I have superglue all over my fingers. It's going to drive me crazy until it come off in a few days.
