Hey guys! Sorry I haven't been on all week >.<; Had goat problems the past few days so I was a bit busy. How are you all doing?!?

Yeah... :( My weather (a boy goat that can't have babies ^^;) died yesterday. Apparently when you castrate them at a month or two of age (which is what we did years ago when we used to breed them), their urethra doesn't fully developed because you're taking away their testosterone so when they reach 5 or 6 years of age, they start developing crystals in their urine that get stuck in the urethra and eventually plug it up completely so that they can't pee. And then they die :( So yeah, That's what's been going on with the goats.

Sorry to hear about your goat. One of our goats had to be put down when I lived with my aunt and uncle because it got so old.

Thank you, It does suck :( The worst part was that the doc was just getting ready to administer the drug to put him down and before he could, the goat just died in my lap :( Didn't even need the drug :/

Aw, that made me tear up. Poor goat. ;( I think the goat we had got really sick before they took her in. They were worried she had something that might be contagious and it might affect the other goats (they have 5). It was one of the goats Teresa & Luis had (they gave them to my aunt and uncle) so I had to tell her about it.

The brownies are good. I had some wine with mine. x3

It was pretty sad, especially since he was in a lot of pain there at the end. Made me wish I was able to put him out of his misery sooner :( Oh no! Contagious things in herds suck! >.<; I hope they didn't have any more troubles with the illness then! We had lice once... that SUCKED...

;( Poor goat. At least you know better now, right? Yeah, it just turned out she was really old though so the other goats were fine. But they took her too the vet and had to pay a lot of money just to let them know she was just old. And then they took in Chiefy and found out he was just old and losing the use of his legs and they gave him some anti-inflammatory (basically Motrin lol) drug. He did much better on it though so I think my aunt and uncle might go along with whatever they need to get him more. Poor old man. :(

I only drink riesling (white wine) because most other wines that I've tried aren't sweet enough. xD Also, I've had the whole
bottle. It wasn't a very good riesling though.

Yes I do. Not gonna matter now cause I don't have any more boy goats but.. At least I have the knowledge now! Oh ok that's good! I suspect I'm gonna have a lot more goats die in the next year or two becuase most of them are ancient >.<; that's gonna be fun :( lol! Don't you just love that? The one good thing was that becuase he died, he ended up saving me 75 bucks ha. Chiefy is dead?! :o or oh, ok so he's ok just old. lol

haha! I like most white wines but I haven't gotten a taste for the red stuff yet. A WHOLE BOTTLE?!? :o Over a few hours or pretty quick? lol

Yes, at least you have the knowledge. I'm sorry you lost him though. It's not cool. At least old age isn't something you could blame yourself for, y'know? Though, I doubt you blame yourself at all. And Chief's fine, just freaking OLD. I honestly think he needs to be put down. He can't walk on linoleum anymore because he lost control of his legs. He can't even walk up the steps anymore. I actually need to call my aunt and see how he is doing but I haven't yet. He's just ancient. Poor guy. :( It cost way more to take in the goat. Like 150. O.o;

Haha, I haven't gotten a taste for anything besides riesling yet. xD You should try the Willamette Valley riesling. Soooo good. And it was over a couple of hours but I'm still...drunk.

Me too :( That's true. and the doc was nice enough to say that there was nothing I could have done for him either. it happens to all boy goats that get there you no what's cut off too soon.
Really?? Wow that's pretty bad :/ Well hopefully he doesn't get any worse. It would have been that much with the exam if he hadn't died when he did.

lol ok I will! Mostly I just buy the Charles Shaw stuff from Trader Joe's cause it's so affordable :P lol! Don't go driving! There are lots of cops out over here today O.O I haven't gotten good and drunk in a while. I need to do that this weekend XD

I hope so too. But he's only going to get older. But the medication seemed to help a lot. And it was a she goat and yeah, I think it was just for the exam to make sure nothing was contagious.

Lol. Why would I drive? I'm drunk, not retarded . Also, I may have to try that. I live so close to a Trader Joe's. x3 I've mostly been going to Winco/Safeway. Just a warning though - Willamette Valley is expensive but soo delicious.
