Yeah I've had a persistent cough for a month now with bursts of unproductive, painful coughs. Went to the doc again today & he said one lung was making noise & the other wasn't, so he sent me for an xray. I would prefer it to be pneumonia, because it could be a collapsed lung. My mom's had that twice. =.=;

OH My, i hope you don't have a collapsed lung... that makes me want to go to the doctor because of my little bit of coughing..

yikes a collapsed lung sounds very painful indeed

Well it doesn't really hurt. It only hurts in one area, and only if I try to breathe real deep or drink something really fast.
I called the doctor's office back at 4:45, though & they said he'd get back to me tomorrow...

nah it's totally cool that I can't breathe fully & if it is a collapsed lung is only getting worse the longer I wait.

how do they... uncollapse it?

It usually involves draining fluid from your plural cavity to equalize the pressure, making your lung re-inflate.
The second time it happened to my mom the lung....stuck to itself, I think? So they actually had to remove a chunk.

i have tried to roleplay and am still only active in one with one person and we are both really slow at replying, especially since she just had a baby lol

I like to have a bunch of role plays going at once. Its funner for me that way.
