XD I mean, the hot tub is the BEST when it's snowing outside... I open the side windows and the whole room steams up, and you can sit out in the cold when you get too hot....or run outside if you are crazy like that XD
It's true. Silly rain. hold off until the spring at least! I just wish that the snow could be tomorrow, so I don't have to drive to work.

oh that sounds like fun! Our hot tub is out on our patio outside so whenever it rains or snows you can sit back and watch it fall. Have you ever gotten out of the hot tub and flopped in the snow like a crazy person?
 I'll hope for snow for you tomorrow then :XD

Ours is in a solarium that has skylights and very large windows.....walls of ceder too so it smells really good in there. it's where we keep plants in the winter, so it looks rather tropical. and yes. I have run out into the snow XD it burns once you get back into the tub, that's for sure! Burns so good :P
Seriously. I am in charge of the fabric shift and it looks like a bomb blew up there now...... (so I can use a snow day!!!) Ug. I am almost done, but it's the last bit that's the worst. Too bad that I don't get paid for the actual position that's been thrust upon me.......but then again, I am getting out of there as soon as I find a better job that actually uses my degree XP

Oh I love Ceder  It smells so good!! That sounds really nice! I bet it makes it a lot warmer in the winter to go out and get in! :P Lol I've only done it once so far but it I agree it does burn so good!
Oh that sounds like a cleaning nightmare :o Not paying you for the actual position?! Not cool...

pft, I am doing the OTL manager's job...she, well....doesn't know how to do her job. Yet there she is. And I am just shouldered with the responsibility. I am tempted to quit to see it all fall apart... But that'd be stupid to quit any job that pays before I find a new one. I was away for three days, and it was chaos when I got back Monday...and once again, I had to clean it all up.
Wanna go egg/ tp my job with me tomorrow Carn? I think it would be FANTASTIC fun.

Oh nice... Gotta love that. lol yea that wouldn't be to wise :P Even though they probably don't deserve a good hard working employee like yourself. Hey yeah! We totally should! :XD I've even got some old paintball guns that have been gathering dust in my closet we could use!:eager:

Seriously gonna murder live update...
Lol yea... and when you add in stupidity they hurt a lot! :gonk: (I once charged my friend while playing a game in my younger years and he popped up and started shooting. Earned myself 12 or 15 welts all over my chest... Smart right?) :XD lol! I think I'd rather get hit in the bum than some of the places I've gotten hit. And point blank?! Um.. Ow...
 Did you creep into his room in the middle of the night and shoot him while he slept? :XD

hahaha. No, but that would have been some good revenge, no?
Well, on the bum.... or on my tailbone above the nice padded part of the bum....where do you think I was shot? Guuh.
And yah, in the throat? I couldn't breath for a while after that happened. Good thing the tree behind me caught my fall ;)
Welts! Nice. Pretty BA. Makes me want to play paintball again. I bet it's FUN in the snow.

Oh yes! A little mean perhaps but he asked for it!
Owie... doesn't sound so padded there... Oh well good thing the tree was there! :XD
Yea I didn't have on a whole lot of padding that day. Just a pair of jeans, two Tshirts and a long sleeved shirt. Hurt quite a bit. Looking back on it I wonder what the hell I was thinking!
Oh! In the snow sounds fun! Last time I went was at an arena in Portland with my brother. I gave up on the sport a few years ago when I was playing a night game at the local hobbie shop field and a visiting team decided it would be a good idea to throw fireworks into the bunkers for flash grenades... Not fun.

fireworks in the bunkers?!?! whaa? oh my. yah, that's not really cool. I have to admit, I just giggled a little. But if I was there, I would NOT be giggling.
I've never done it in an arena or anything cool like that. Just the forest. we have a lot of it in my area and at my old house.
Ha. I remember my brothers threw firecrackers into the dug outs during one of my softball games when we were little. Yaaah, not the brightest idea ever. They got into so much trouble.

Lol I can see how fireworks makes em sounds a little whimpy :XD but they weren't  lol Needless to say I didn't go back to the local meets
I think I prefer the forest to the arena. the arena was dirty and full of broken paintballs and there wasn't much you could do in there cause there wasn't a lot of space. Whereas the forest is big and pretty and offers a lot more options
Boy your brothers sound like real troublemakers! :P

One of them was a troublemaker, that's for sure. The other, the younger one and closest in age with me is my closest sibling. He's pretty darn cool.
And yah. I love the woods
Quote:

the woods are lovely dark, and deep, but I have promises to keep and miles to go before I sleep, and miles to go before I sleep....
|
I just like that you can basically become a ninja when paint balling in the woods. I've covered myself with leaves and waited for people to come by me. hehe
ahhh. I love this scene!!! *watches the very end of North and South* love love love

The little brother always gets caught in the plots of the older brother... Oh well aren't you a sneaky little devil! :ninja: Remind me not to play with you...
That's a nice quote. Where's that from? *goes to look up the synopsis of north and south*

That's from "Stopping by the Woods on a Snowy Evening" by Robert Frost! Probably his most famous poem.... I think it starts out something like...
Quote:
|
whose woods these are, I think I know, his house is in the village though, he will not see me stopping here, to watch his woods fill up with snow.
|
uuuuuh
Quote:
my little horse must think it queer, to stop without a farm house near, between the woods and frozen lake, the darkest evening of the year
he gives his harness bells a shake, to ask if there is some mistake. The only other sound's the sweep of easy wind and downy flake
|
wow. can't believe I remembered that. and then that last stanza is the one i quoted previously.
and north and south is GREAT. BBC - Drama - North and South if you have netflix it's all on there
Robert Frost's grave was a short walk from my first school. I'd go there all the time.

Oh! Ok. The only poem I know of his is Fire and Ice (I think that's what it's called?) I used it to open a speech in my speech 111 class :XD *grumbles about stupid core class requirements*
 Bravo! Excellent job! That's a good poem! I like the way it sounds.
Oh is it? Maybe I'll watch it some evening if I can get my nose out of a book for long enough :XD
No way! I've never been much for literary figures but that would still be cool to go visit his grave whenever you wanted

yup that's the poem.
Quote:
|
some say the world will end in fire, others ice. from what i've tasted of desire, i hold with those who favor fire. but if I had to perish twice, i think I know enough of hate, to say that for destruction ice is also great, and would suffice
|
I can pretty much quote all of his more famous poems. I've had his complete collection of poetry since I was a child
Quote:
|
The way the crow shook down on me, a dust of snow from the hemlock tree, has given my heart a change of mood and saved some part of a day I had rued
|
i can go on, but I won't ;)
and yah, it's a good movie. a nice dichotomy between Northern and Southern England... in Victorian times it was like a completely different world.
What book?

It sounds like an interesting story. I'll at least put it on my to watch list. And I'm reading the fifth Percy Jackson book. I finished the last 4 last week. Quick reads but they're full of excitement and danger and cool stuff :P lol don't ever ask me to do a book review for you...
