Mep? You know you wanna share your cocoa :3 :3 :3

I love that too, I hate waiting for books to come out, BUT, I also plow through books that I like, so it's sad when I finish a new book. Like, I finished reading this book in 2 days (I was trying to pace myself :/)

Well, I haven't gone anywhere........ This ice storm made it so I had to call out the other day, and I didn't have work today..... So like....cabin fever city here. I was going loopy today. It's because I finished the book!!! :(

Welll... Sure. *goes to get the cocoa thermos* Here you go!

2 Days?!? I can only do that with young adult type books that aren't too long... I get really sad when a book ends too. It's like these great people that have come to visit you for a few weeks have just left and taken all their awesomeness with them

Stuck inside and nothing to do?! :o Go get your other book!!

Oh thanks for the cocoa! *sips* If it wasn't 2am irl, I would make cocoa now....with marshmallows :3

I can read a book in a sitting, a few hours, if I really am into it. But, I try to stretch it out, cause I like new books to last. So, it was nice since I was at a friend's house in Mass this weekend, and I could only read it when she went to sleep, cause we were doing stuff.

I have a million books I could read (I practically have a library of them) but you know how it gets sometimes when you are stuck at home with a million things you *could* do...but have no desire to do any of them. Today I was sewing, making a fox pillow (it's coming out really cute) and I drew up a few ideas to make more cute pillows like an owl one, a badger, a peacock..... I have so much felt, all I needed to do was draw them out to see how they'd look, then start cutting fabric. That and I shoveled and my dad treated me to dinner.

My mom's been at this writers conference down in Florida, and she is rubbing it in how nice it is weather wise  I don't blame her, lol

You could always pretend it's only 11: PM! :XD

Do you read like a whole paragraph at a time or something?! I mean holy crap! Yea the best time of day for me to read is night time before I head to bed. Which gets me in trouble cause I end up staying up way to late when it's a good book... :gonk:

That sounds like a pretty fun day! I did the dishes, laundry, cleaned up some other stuff, took out the trash... Your's sounds like a much more fun day. Oh but I did get treated to taco bell while I was driving around with my mom so there was that!

 That's funny! And something I'd totally do too! :XD

Yah but, lucky her... My mom is having fun in the sun AND this author that is leading some seminars told her that she is ready to be published, and it sounds like she is going to help her, introduce her to her agent, etc... So my mom's excited. She is more into the conference than she is into Florida.

And yah I love reading at night. I stay up till the sun comes up some times when I am all about a book. Whoops! lol

and that sounds like a nice day too! I got Rossi's Cafe (a nice version of a Diner....) which meant SWEET POTATO FRIES!!!! and a cranberry walnut salad... om nom nom

Well that sounds great! How exciting! What kinds of books does she write?

 I haven't stayed up all night long since I was a little kid too afraid to go to sleep :XD

It was a pretty good day I admit. But i think that diner food is probably a little better for you than taco bell

She writes fantasy (one mystery novel so far...) and is treading waters in young adult. She has 8 or so complete novels and a few more in the works... But, it's hard getting your name out there for agents to be interested in, publishers have bitten, but the one serious *bite* asked her to change too much in a story, and she didn't want to compromise her story just because they didn't like her that one of her characters was gay.

I believe the story she has at the conference right now is the only young adult one she wrote so far. She wrote a story with a main character named after me twice (once as the month I was born in May, and the other with my real name) She kinda writes along the same genre as I do, with fantasy, but I have a pretty different style. (plus, it's funny, my mom can write 400, 500 page novels, but she can't write a short story to save her life)

And sometimes, taco bell is what you need/ want. I hear yah. I like those cinnamon twisty things they have.

You haven't stayed up all night since you were little? What about college? I pulled quite a few all nighters writing.... And just, sometimes when I am out and about. For my solstice party, gah, we stayed up till 6am

Neither of you have a quest thread which makes this all the more difficult....

Woody - Psch! Screw them! Well that's good she's getting that other authors help. There's nothing like writing a good story and having someone say "oh no no no no no... this part sucks. Change that. What were you thinking here?!..."

Oh how cool you get to be in here books! :P Not even a long short story? That's funny!

Nope. I never pulled all nighters writing crap. If I stayed up all night to do homework it would be for math or something! :P

Azazel - *sniffs the air* I smell... I smell! Nothing actually. My nose is kinda stuffed up :XD
Nice avi by the way!

Not a problem. I am leaving mene and giving away all of my items so it's no big. And I'm glad I could give you an 07' item like this. I'm sure they are becoming more and more scarce.

Yah, I mean, I haven't had my eye on many older items just because.... I've been looking mostly for the items that allow me to continue with the mystical fae theme.

That's too bad that you are leaving! And you are sure to be missed, but again, very sweet that you are being so generous

**never mind there he is!** cause I don't know if he is poking about now
