physics huh? rough stuff right there... i never took it... even when i went to college lol i manged to find other things to fill those requirements :P... do you mind if i ask what you are going to school for?

Oh yes! :yes: I love physics. I actually took my physics classes a few years ago. I'm just helping Estrella out with some one of her problems. And sure you can! I'm headed towards being a mechanical engineer. I love building stuff.

ah well, thanks. It's always fun to help other people with math and stuff for me. I actually considered being a teacher for awhile. What about you?

and i graduated a few years ago... i got a BA in communications... but i'm not using it :sweat:

Oh well I was actually thinking of teaching math as the only program here to do that was a secondary ed in math. But things ended up changing for me so I'm back on for the engineering :yes:

Ah gotcha! heh My sister graduated a year or 2 ago with a masters in teaching english but there are just no jobs around here for teachers so she (and a lot of the other people from her class) haven't ended up using their degrees yet.

so a math teacher huh? i think that was my worst subject in school :lol: and that's funny about your sister cause i went to school, at first i was a double major, english and communications, because i thought about teaching too... i dropped the english after my second year i think... but kinda funny coincidence :yes:

communications is basically about how information is delivered... radio, television, newspaper/magazine, that sort of thing.... when i first got to school i wanted to be a sports journalist because i love to write and i love sports, so it felt like a really perfect match... i worked with the school radio station, wrote for the newspaper and was co-editor of the yearbook... we didn't have a tv station at our school since it was a small college, but in high school we had a public access channel that i took a few classes in... i guess ultimately i'd like to get into a radio station and be a writer... i'm not one for actually being on the air though :sweat: hope that answers your question

so what kind of jobs can a mechanical engineer get? in my neck of the woods we don't have many (or like, any) of those :lol: my dad is a mechanic though! :rofl:

It does! And it sound like a lot of exciting stuff! My Grandfather on my moms side wanted really badly to be a journalist when he was growing up but he ended up becoming a salesman!

Well... I'm not really sure what jobs I can get :XD I could do something with aircraft production which would be really cool or something with engines. Ideally I'd like to get into something in the area of renewable energy. So we will see!
