It is college math. Stuff like:

Simplify: (-4 + x2 + 2x3) – (-6 – x + 3x3) – (-6y3 + y2)

But right now I am on to the more complex ones.

I think I figured out them all, though I may have gotten one wrong. I cannot figure out the square root of 1/y^3

1/y^3 is the same as y^-3 and the square root of y^-3 is the same as (y^-3)^1/2... right? so then it would be y^-3/2. I think? Does that sound right or am I just spouting crap :shock:

@ Car - Hmm, I don't think so with this objective of removing the negatives. I think that is as simplified as I can get that part.
