Momo - It's my favorite for Mene and then for everything else I usually use Chrome but Chrome has it's bad points like when opening pdfs so Firefox is handy for that.

apparently yes. like I said, odd. the child is ... and now they are all running around outside my window playing tag ... VERY rude.
----------
nothing makes me want to slap a kid more then when my son goes outside and the other child screams at the top of his lungs, "GAVIN! WE DON'T WANT YOU!!" leaving a group of confused kids and my son with hurt feelings.

That was my life in elementary. Though, it was at school, and they didn't actually say that. It was more in how they treated me. :stare: Elementary kids are evil! And I say that from experience.

@ Alaunt: Got that right. So are the people who run the damn schools. If you don't learn exactly like all the other little kids, then you must be put on medication, whether you've got something or not. In my case my original school district wanted to test me for ADHD and put me on medication for it, and by the sounds of it it was regardless of the results. I know that I don't have ADHD (as far as my knowledge), and I've never been diagnosed with anything that requires medication, other than my allergies (that's only as-needed anyway). After hearing this, my parents took me out of public school and homeschooled me for the next six years. I finallly reentered the public school system in the 9th grade, and I hated it.
And if our fellow adults think that kids grow out of bullying as they get older, they're %^#$ing wrong.

:stare: I'd hate to know where you went to school. The teachers were nice to me. In fact my principle was the grandmother of one of the few (about 3) girls who were actually nice to me. I miss her. Her husband was actually my principle for high school. I've been surrounded by that family my entire life. Kinda odd to not have any of them at the same college.

All but one of my elementary teachers were nice to me. And when I say that, I mean two out of three. Kindergarten: Well, okay, I remember hardly anything from kindergarten other than watching late-night anime with my dad, and all the sci-fi movies...which would explain the Chewbaka impression that scared the crap out of my classmates.
First Grade: The teacher who I SWEAR was psychic; she told my parents that while I had no interest in reading at all, once I found what I liked I'd take off. One year later the first of the Harry Potter movies came out, and I wanted to see it. Mom made me read the book first, and I complained and bitched and moaned and whined...and promptly got hooked on the books. Neither my mom or my dad have managed to rip my nose out of a book since.
Second Grade: I describe this teacher as a woman who makes Snape look nice...well, other than Umbitch--oops, did I say "Umbitch"? I meant Umbridge. Anyway, this was before the fifth book, so I hadn't seen that little control freak toad yet. But yeah...I hated my second grade teacher. The only time I wasn't in the corner, isolated from my classmates was when we had a substitute, and the next day teach was back and I got stuck in the corner. And she'd reglarly grab my arms hard enough to bruise them and yell at me. Couple of times the bitch sent me to the office for talking to my classmates, saying that I was bullying them. And when I was the one bullied, zilch. Nada. Either ignored it or egged them on. The whole reason is that she had this nasty little habit of picking one student out and making them the scapegoat for the class the entire year. Guess who was the lucky student......
Yep, second grade teacher was a bitch. She and my granny would get along perfectly, as they both hate my guts.

Aw that is so sad to hear about your son Crazymuch.
My science/health/pe teacher in grade school thought I was anti-social. And not the general term. He thought I had the actual disease. He told my mom I should be tested for it.
She told him that I wasn't anti-social that I just didn't like bullies. lol
Then she told him that even if I didn't talk to people that didn't make me anti-social as that is when a person doesn't care about other people. They don't care that something they do hurts others. They just care about themselves.
Hey never spoke of it again.
